Overview
Extremely technical in nature and with a proven track record in solution delivery, the Senior Performance Tester is responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance, load and stress tests in a custom development environment in line with agreed plans and strategies using HP LoadRunner and JMeter. As a senior member of a highly collaborative and dynamic test team, the Senior Performance Tester will provide strategy, mentoring, leadership and direction to other team members, as well as ensuring the quality of the team’s output is of a consistently high standard.
Role/Responsibilities
• Document and execute high quality performance/load/stress test plans for areas under custom development and test using HP LoadRunner and/or JMeter primarily but use of other tools or frameworks may also be required
• Analyse complex requirements and review acceptance criteria to ensure they are fit for purpose, testable and can have performance tests developed to explicitly test and guide acceptance
• Create comprehensive and well defined performance test scripts that are traceable back to requirements and scenarios
