My client is looking for a Systems Architect who is hands on and has previous experience of working on a variety of projects. The Project Systems Architect will develop appropriate architecture and design of solutions for Application and Infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will also participate and advise during the implementation of these projects to ensure successful deployment and transition to the production environment

Responsibilities of the Project Systems Architect:
• Develop appropriate architectural and design documentation and communicate to the appropriate business and project teams as required.
• Consult with internal clients and account managers to ensure the architecture meets the business requirements.
• Take responsibility for the architecture and design of I.T. Solutions on a project.
• Provide robust and cost effective designs.
• Act as the focal point to resolve all technical design issues as they occur during the full project life cycle.
• Adhere to company standards and methodologies to ensure compliance with architectural requirements, and the quality and consistency of the design and its implementation.
• Participate in the project planning by providing technology options and recommendations.
• Accountable for the delivery and quality of the required architecture artefacts that adhere to the Architecture Practice policies and standards.
• Ensure that architecture deliverables adhere to the ISO, Security and Data Protection policies and standards of the organisation.
• Escalate architectural issues, as appropriate, for discussion and decision

Essential Skills Required:
• Experience working on projects in a large enterprise environment.
• Must be proficient with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Have strong process skills.
• Have worked within a recognised application/service delivery process and methodology and understand the importance of Change Management, Testing and Documentation.
• Excellent communicators, both verbal and written, and have experience of producing high quality architectural and design documentation, and delivering presentations to senior management and project teams.
• A good knowledge of current Application, Infrastructure and Security Frameworks.
• Have designed solutions and then participated as the Project Architect in the delivery of Application and/or Infrastructure Solutions, and be able to reference successful implementations. Some technologies used include; Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, applications using J2EE and .Net technologies.

The Job

• Develop comprehensive test cases to cover both UI and database level testing for both SIT and Regression testing

• Tracking of progress of test phase and reporting to Project Manager with regular updates
• Raise & track defects, highlight potential risks
• Ensures quality standards are maintained at all times
• Develops process improvement initiatives

Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years QA and software testing experience
• Exposure to test in a financial services environment preferably Life and Pensions
Experience in interrogating SQL server databases through the use of SQL queries
• Experience in testing on data migration/ data driven projects
• Testing of systems developed in .NET and SQL Server is essential

Background (Skills & Experience)

• The Online Content Manager must have a strong technical background in addition to the creativity required to develop responsive, interesting original content. Traditional writing skills and expertise in online media is required.
• Ability to track and report on the effectiveness of content in social media through defined metrics (likes, shares, retweets)
• Advanced knowledge of responsive web, Content Management Systems and social media management platforms
• Knowledge of image manipulation tools e.g. Photoshop
• Knowledge of SEO best practice and keyword research

A Project Manager is required to support the IS Manager in the delivery of key IS projects. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of application development, software development and infrastructure delivery projects within a complex integrated systems environment. The project manager will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, costs, identifying risks & issues and clearly communicating these to project stakeholders.
Role Description:

• Manage and co-ordinate the delivery of application development, software development and infrastructure delivery projects.
• Liaise with the business as required to understand stakeholder needs; guide, persuade and influence others through developed skills of communication and diplomacy.
• Develop and implement procedures and IS documentation to maximise the effectiveness and quality of working practices.
• Assist in determining project objectives and outlines project requirements.
• Track and report on project progress against the project plan.
• Track and report on project risks and issues.
• Manage the project budget and update forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Co-ordinate project resources across a number of IS functions.
• Manage and review the service delivery of external vendors.
• Provide regular project reports to stakeholders.
• Produce, manage and coordinate all relevant documentation.


Required Skills:
• 6 + years proven track record in IT Project Management
• Extensive experience of managing application development, software development and infrastructure delivery projects.
• Extensive knowledge of scheduling and budgeting for IT project implementation.
• Extensive decision making and an ability to prioritise.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive technical and analytical skills with the ability to operate in a large complex environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proven experience in risk and change management.
• Proficient in project management software/tools.
• Prince 2 Certified.
Desired Experience:
• A formal 3rd level qualification.
• Experience of working within a similar IT environment is preferable i.e. Oracle, MS Visual Basic and MS Net.
• A strong understanding of Web Services.

A dedicated short term specialist resource (VBA Developer) is required to implement key improvements to the Maintenance Database. This work will allow for more efficient daily management of the maintenance programme, improved data management and enhanced reporting capabilities. The primary items to be addressed are as follows:

• Update and develop the functionality in the existing MS Access Maintenance Database which is based on SQL scripts and VBA coding.
• Review the structure of the database with a view to making simultaneous multi-user access possible.
• Implement a specified list of improvements to the database functionality.
• Suggest additional potential improvements to the database design and functionality.
• Develop statistical reporting options for data stored in the database.
• Develop user friendly methods of data presentation for data stored in the database.
• Test new functionality.
• Document changes to database design and functionality.
• Produce a User Guide.

Essential Skills / Experience:

As part of its IaaS portfolio approximately 40 servers are deployed in a number of hosting environments for its online presence and internal systems provided by third parties. The Company has implemented and is implementing a substantial change programme to deliver ICT services for its 6000+ user population. A number of major systems implementation projects have been completed, including Student Management System, Web Presence and Portal Services, On-line Learning Management and a technology enabled course delivery infrastructure. The provision of ICT services is underpinned by a technical architecture, consisting of a number of hosted services, an education network, multimedia services, internal services, and single sign-on transparent access for users.

The Service Delivery Manager is required to ensure effective delivery of the ICT production environment and high quality services and support for its users. The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for managing the technical aspects of ICT projects and user support. The manager will lead a support team and plays a key role in implementing and operating technology and software. The position requires a broad range of technical skills in managing a diverse operational environment with a focus on customer service and supplier liaison. A keen interest in applying technology in education experience is required. Experience of a varied technical infrastructure and demanding service environment is required.



The post will manage a team that supports an advanced infrastructure, utilising private cloud, SAAS, and IAAS environments and include

Desirable qualification
• Microsoft certified professional in relevant subjects e.g. Active Directory
Highly desirable competencies:

Reporting Relationship
The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for ICT support in the company and will report to the ICT Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The post will be responsible for ICT technical support, projects to maintain existing systems and to introduce new and improved technology and services. Given the pace of change of ICT in all industries, duties and responsibilities include but are not be limited to:

• Embedding and driving compliance with policy and standard operating procedures
• Delivery of ICT routines in the company including the execution of daily, weekly and monthly procedures e.g. Backup, Recovery Testing and audits
• Monitoring and driving day to day management of vendors in the delivery of ICT systems including the company’s online presence and office systems. Driving the extraction of maximum value from service contracts including vendor performance.

Description: Project Manager with PMO experience required for 6 Month Contract based in Dublin 1.
The requirement is for a Project Manager to work within the I.S. Programme Management Office (PMO) for the programme and to manage a project within the programme.

This person will assist the head of the PMO to liaise with the project teams, within a number of lines of business, to manage the programme deliverables.
This person will also manage specific projects within the programme.
Specific Duties:
PMO:
o Work with project delivery teams to ensure effective project governance is applied throughout the project lifecycle
o Ensure the PMO standards, procedures, tools and templates are rolled out and used consistently and effectively in all projects
o Act as a guide and support for Project Managers in their correct use and application of Process and tools
o Collate data and gather updates from project teams and stakeholders across the lines of business to prepare fortnightly, monthly and quarterly project and programme status reports
o Track and report on project milestones.
o Assist with the management of the PMO
o Manage change control process
o Track and report on Project profitability / budget status, Project/Programme analysis and reporting such as Exception management and decision making reporting
o Work with the project teams within a number of lines of business to ensure that the delivery of their projects is to the appropriate level of quality, is on time, and within budget

Managing projects:
Deliver projects on time, on budget to the expected quality
Work with key stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support both the Business and I.S. goals
Plan and manage the project life cycle from initiation to handover to production
Liaise with project stakeholders throughout the project life cycle
Develop project plans and associated communications documents
Identify project pre-requisites, dependencies, constraints, risks and critical path and manage these proactively

Essential Skills and Experience:
Experience in a Project Management role
Experience working in a PMO
Experience working in the financial services industry
Experience communicating at all levels from executive to team level. Strong verbal and written skills
Experience producing reports to enterprise standard appropriate for a senior audience
Experience delivering projects on time, on budget to the expected quality
Experience in planning, organising, and controlling resources and tasks
Experience of Project Management / Application Delivery methodologies
Desired Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in the Insurance Industry.
