JOB DESCRIPTION:
The key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

 Investigate, analyze and document reported system defects
 Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects
 Document new business requirements and technical specifications
 Perform coding to satisfy new requirements
 Create, document, and implement unit and system test plans and scripts
 Create and maintain technical documentation
 Perform user administration
 Coordinate software deployment with other IT functions and business users
 Develop solid understanding of business processes
 Liaise with various business teams to gather requirements and resolve different business issues.

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have

 5 + years hands-on experience with:
- ASP.NET
- Visual Basic
- Report Viewer
- SQL Server Database (incl. T-SQL)
- XML, Web Services
 Proficient in:
- Business Objects
- Informatica
- Oracle
 Experience with entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
 Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Ability to resolve issues in a timely fashion
 BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent

Job Description:
My client has an immediate contract requirement for a software developer who has worked in SharePoint & .NET development roles. Applicants must have at least 3 - 5 years experience designing and implementing software solutions using SharePoint and .NET.
My client has recently adopted SharePoint as a corporate platform and a key system is being developed on this platform. Additional systems are also being developed for my client which are based on SharePoint /.NET technology and underpinned by several data warehouses. These systems are interfaced to other Line of Business Applications and it is expected that the systems and their interfaces will continue to evolve and be enhanced on an on-going basis. Accordingly the client has a requirement for a software developer who possesses both SharePoint and .NET skills and whose primary responsibility will be overseeing the delivery of system enhancements for these systems.
The role requires deep technology knowledge and the ability to develop SharePoint and .NET solutions in line with business requirements. The successful candidate will report to the IT Solutions Architect.
Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements:
