Description: An excellent permanent Opportunity has come available for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer for a Top Client based in Dublin.
You will be responsible for the ongoing support and development of particular aspects of SAP.
Areas of Responsibility include:
Support Management
Problem Management
Controls
Project Management
and People Management
Maintain a list of all outstanding support issues
Work within the published SLA
Manage business expectations in resolving the issues
Work with the desk / user in solving the issue.
Document the solution / workaround and publish (WIKI)
Completion of the business change control forms
Completion of the business Continuity control forms
Adherence to the relevant department control procedures
Competition and ownership of any other relevant controls
Participation in the weekly control meetings.
Documentation and sign off of the function spec and project plan prior to the project start
Delivery of the project on time and within budget
Full documentation in relation to the following, the development itself, guide for the user, support documentation
Delivery of the business benefits associated with the projects
Ensure the robustness of the solutions generated for the business
Qualifications include:
Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Studies or similar subject preferred.
Minimum 4-5 years experience in an ABAP Development role.

ECC6.0 and XI3.0

Description: Excellent multinational Dublin based company is looking for a SAP ABAP Developer who has a minimum of 1 or 2 years experience in ABAP Development.
Technical/ Business Experience required:
A proven track record of performance with at least 2 years programming experience with exposure to ABAP programming.
At least 6-12 months SAP ABAP programming experience is desirable.
An in-depth ability in another programming language such as Visual Basic, Cobol or C is desirable.
Experience of working on a SAP implementation or SAP upgrade is desirable
Strong working knowledge of SAP's HR module is desired.
Must be seen as regional/global expert in their area and is sought as a key resource within their function.
