SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
• Ideal candidate will have 3- 5 years’ hands on industry experience, in ASP.Net development roles.
• Experienced software developer with broad understanding of all aspects of software development.
• Good knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Experience in OO JavaScript and JSON with an emphasis on Ajax development and use of JavaScript frameworks, preferably Ext JS and jQuery.
• Experience of .NET Frameworks 3.5, 4 or 4.5.
• Experience of ASP.NET MVC and C#.
• Experience of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or 2012.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 / 2012.
• Experience of agile development processes.
• Ability to influence technical discussions and provide technical leadership.
• Ability to comprehend complex business and technical scenarios

DESIRABLE
• BSc computer science/engineering or similar
• Experience with Large/Enterprise scale solutions
• Experience with WCF, .NET Web API or RESTful services.
• Experience in WebSockets
• Experience of Unit Testing and Mocking tools, preferably Test Driven Development.
• Experience of Dependency Injection and Inversion of Control.

• The candidate must have extensive experience in building RESTful API's with ASP.NET Web API
• Proven experience with JavaScript, JQuery, CSS and HTML
• Proven experience in using SOLID Principles and Design Patterns (IOC & Dependency Injection)
• The candidate must have extensive experience in writing T-SQL queries and stored procedures using MS SQL Server (Preferably 2014)
• The candidate must have extensive experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
• The candidate must have extensive experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, NUnit Should, or any other unit testing framework)
• The candidate should have knowledge of ORM (Object Relational Mapping) and Entity Framework
• The candidate should have experience in continues integration & deployment techniques
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• The candidate should have good experience in writing secure code with OWASP guidelines
• Good verbal and written communication skills, Good team player and Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with our development teams and coordinate development in line with corporate goals and objectives
• Work with business departments to scope and design web based highly secure, highly scalable internet applications
• Proactively communicate progress, issues and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
• Solving production support issues

Experience with the following would also be good:

• Experience in Behaviour-driven development / Test driven development
• Working experience with onsite-offshore development team members
• Hands on experience on JQuery (experience in writing plug-ins and API) and JQuery based MVVM frameworks(Knockout.js / Angular.js)
• Working experience with nHibernate or fluent nHibernate
• Working experience with ASP.NET MVC 3/4
• Hands-on experience on Structure Map (DI/IOC) or Automapper (object-object mapper)

Qualifications:

Background On Role
The successful candidate is expected to have good development and better analysis skills and also have working functional knowledge of AD systems. The development skills required are excellent ASP.NET C# and MS SQL Server DB technologies along with good Java skills and an excellent understanding of web services, including SOAP and REST architectures.

Role Purpose:
The successful candidate will work with customers and developers in CTO to define scope and business requirements and develop solutions and deliver high quality systems. The candidate will be responsible for requirements gathering, business requirements analysis, and process documentation and follow through the SDLC process. Ability to work in high pressured environment and meet the delivery timeline with high degree of client satisfaction. The appropriate candidate will continuously improve client service and seek strategic solutions and enhancements to business requirements.


Requirements:
• Work with application managers and clients to ensure documented requirements are analysed and implemented to specification.
• Ensure high-quality code is developed, tested and implemented in a compliant fashion.
• Ensure in-house development tools for the automation, approval and deployment functions can be understood and utilized
• Ensure appropriate controls are followed with Solutions Development organization including following required SDLC steps and project management (PTS) steps, and any other required tasks from the organization.
• Work with the right resources to document, prototype, develop, test and deploy the solution.
• Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure system, string and integration tests are performed and the solution verified.
• Employ and standard request approval forms to assist with any application implementations
• Understand how to integrate the latest innovative technologies, such as Big Data, Cloud, and Social platforms.

Knowledge/Experience:
• Proficiency in ASP.Net, and C #
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server
• Proficiency in web services, including SOAP and REST architectures
• Working knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Siteminder and Single Sign-On
