The .Net Developer will:
Maintain & provide additional functionality to existing systems and the design/development of new applications.

• Design solutions (or assist with the design) that best support the business requirements
• Develop those solutions
• Assist in the production of estimates/business cases
• Adhere to IT Project Methodology & Standards
• Research new technologies and initiatives
• Work with a team to ensure quality assurance.
• Work with other IT teams (e.g. Group IT) on project issues

The Person
The ideal candidate will have a third level IT qualification with a strong emphasis on programming.
They will also have:
• Development experience of Web Applications and Client Server Systems
• Proven development experience
• Experienced in programming with ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL 2008, Web Services, DCOM, MVC and with a knowledge of IIS and Windows Server 2008.
• An ability to learn and understand complex business processes
• Capability to work on their own initiative in a demanding environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A desire to develop their IT competency through training and education

My client based in Dublin City is looking for an ambitious Web Developer with strong C# or VB.net skills to join their small but dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be someone that is able to analyse, propose and develop new solutions to improve the company’s business efficiencies.

The role will include:
Helping to define the company IT Development strategy in line with the company’s business plans.
Develop and enhance the company’s back office and online booking system.
Updating and maintaining the company’s websites.
Working closely with the senior management in the company to ensure best practice policies are in place.

It is envisaged that this will be a senior role for someone that has the get up and go and will make a key contribution to the continued success of the company.

Key Skills and Attributes:

My Financial Services client is looking for 3 C# and ASP.Net Developers to help implement an extensive software development program for its global product.

This is a great opportunity to work on large scale projects in a structured environment .

My client operates an agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) - on SCRUM and FDD principles. As such, the successful applicants will be working in multi-disciplinary teams (Analysis/Design, Development, QA) and so a commitment to and experience of team working is important.

The company is based in central Dublin. The key responsibilities and Qualifications are outlined below. I have a Junior -Mid level and Senior roles open, please apply if interested.

Experience/Skills
• 5+ Years of software development experience in progressive roles with strong Technical focus
• 3+ Years of strong web application design and development skills using ASP.NET and C#
• 3+ Years of design and development with XML Web Services
• 3+ Years of Database Design and development experience using SQL Server
• 3+ Years of implementing web applications using IIS 6.0 or above Web Server
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills and experience creating class-diagrams, sequence diagrams and detailed technical design documents
