Job Description
Working with our business partners/clients in the analysis, definition and documentation of business and functional requirements, the BA will be involved in the design and implementation of full life cycle system solutions in support of the defined requirements. T
he role will support presales activity including tender responses, demonstrations and customer presentations. Training will be given on the Product Framework and they will work closely with our clients to shape their requirements to match.

Responsibilities
• Accountability for the delivery of analysis, tenders/proposals
• Assist internal and external business partners/clients and IT personnel to define and refined business requirements and support operational processes
• Document system functions to support development activity and operational processes
• Create documentation for projects to include specifications, test plans, training materials etc.
• Analyse information and work flows to identify optimal business practices
• Document requirements, procedures and practices in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner
• Work with project teams and customers when appropriate on business processes to achieve an overall consensus on the best solution
• Own and maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in quality improvements initiatives as required.

Experience
• Minimum 3 years business analysis experience in the banking / financial services industry
• Working knowledge of SQL a strong advantage
• Financial regulatory experience a plus
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques
• Strong Vendor Management experience

Overview

Manage the delivery of projects for external clients from project initiation through to close out.

Responsibilities

• Project plan preparation and ownership through project delivery
• Manage and own project delivery within budget, scope, quality and time requirements
• Allocation of project tasks to project team
• Risk & issues identification and management throughout the project
• Lead and participate in project teams to implement project deliverables
• Create documentation for projects include plans, Gantt charts, resource plans, status reports risk logs etc
• Forecast and report on actual revenue for each project
• Manage handover of project with customer and/or customer support
• Management of change throughout the project delivery
• Work with sales personal on pre-sales tasks towards a successful contractual agreement

Experience:

• 4-5 years’ experience managing IT projects
• Significant business experience using various project and program management methodologies in a variety of environments
• Experience of software development processes
• Regulatory experience and proven knowledge of the financial services industry would be an advantage

The role of Head of IT Service Management & Support is responsible for the IT Service Management relationship with the business and setting the standard for the delivery of world class IT services which meet the needs of the business. In addition the role is responsible for the coordination of the IT Change agenda and supporting the management and governance of Operational Risk, Financial Control, HR, Audit and Compliance across all IT functions.

Function of the role:
• Be a champion for the delivery of world class IT service to the business.
• Establish and agree key performance metrics for IT service and ensure there is close monitoring of delivery status and regular communication of performance to business users.
• Manage ITIL process and seek continuous improvement in service management.
• Functional management of the IT Service Management Team, IT Service Desk, Desktop Support, IT Project Office and support services.
• Co-ordinate and manage the IT change agenda with the business and monitor supply and demand of IT resource requirements across IT functions.
• Monitor project delivery as per agreed project delivery schedules, quality and costs. Provide direction to project managers to ensure the successful delivery of customer projects.
• Co-ordinate the governance of the IT budget and cost control across all sections.
• Monitor and co-ordinate the Risk Management process across IT.
• Monitor and co-ordinate Audit and Compliance reporting across IT.
• Ensure HR policies are adhered to across IT.
• Co-ordinate supplier management across IT
• Develop and maintain an environment of innovation and continuous improvement, focusing on quality, cost reduction and process development.
• Guide and mentor Managers and staff to ensure that all team members are motivated and enabled to perform to the full extent of their abilities.

Strong Governance of IT Risk is a key factor in ensuring that the bank meets the strict obligations and requirements it has regarding the security, integrity and availability of it’s IT systems and processes

Function of the role:
• Develop and recommend IT System Security, Information Security and IT Risk policies, procedures, processes and controls for implementation across the business
• Support IT Management to enable best in class governance processes for the management of IT risk to ensure that the bank satisfies its operational, legal and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate the activities of the Information Security and Business Continuity Management Committees
• Review and manage all system-related Security solutions, risks and plans
• Research and advise on new and emerging solutions to ensure that the bank is aware of opportunities to enhance its IT security
• Review, maintain and test IT Disaster Recovery & BCM policies and plans
• Conduct assessments of the systems and information management process to identify breaches, vulnerabilities and control weaknesses.
• Monitor compliance with information security policies and procedures
• Represent the bank on industry and relevant external professional bodies
• Provide support, education and training to staff to develop IT risk awareness
• Maintain strong governance on cost control and prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets for the IT Risk & Control function.

• Banking Systems, development environments and customer delivery systems.
• 5 + years experience of IT Senior management
