Description: SAP Technical Consultant for Top Client based in City Centre/North Dublin.

The successful candidate will work as a technical consultant in SAP with BASIS experience in the involvement of SAP related projects, either from an implementation, client support perspective or upgrade perspective, you will be assigned to challenging projects supporting our local and international clients achieving their goals. You will work closely with our clients and must demonstrate individual functional and professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest calibre to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Skills/Expertise required:

2-3 years of experience in SAP BASIS .
Experience in SAP implementation projects, upgrades or SAP application support. (Experience with SAP ECC5 or SAP ECC6 will be an asset.) .

· Backup & recovery strategy & implementation & testing .
· Change management & Transport control .
· Client management & copies .

Description: SAP Basis role available in Dublin North Candidates must have a strong basis administration background and will be involved in working in the following areas of the company:
Support
•Transport deployments to the QA, Development and Production environment and follow the change management process for this.
•Recommend any additional hardware or software requirements needed for successful SAP deployments, configuration or maintenance.
•Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the SAP system; install and configure patches and upgrades as required.
Security
•Perform daily security changes as per request from users and the SAP Analysts and make sure they are assigned correctly per our security model.
•Assist with password locks, acting as a SAP Administrator for the organization
Configuration & Maintenance role
•Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of SAP software programs and applications.
•Refresh QA, Test, Development and Production environments as required
•Apply patches to the SAP environments and define a patch strategy.
•Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the SAP system
•Experience in Data warehousing and enterprise tools
•Experience with ETL tools and related mythologies and approaches along with SAP Netweaver components
•Experience with SAP BI/BW including hands on experience with administrator workbench and info providers
•Programming experience in ABAP
•Perform query optimization RFRID as required
•Troubleshoot enterprise portal.
•Provide recommendation on evolution of the architecture
