• More than 4 years BO development experience.
• A minimum of 4 years ETL development experience (with 2 years minimum using PL/SQL for same).
• Ideally has 2 years development experience onto one or another of the following combinations: Microsoft SQL Server/.NET; UNIX/Linux.
• A minimum of 1 year experience with an enterprise capable revision/source control system (svn by preference, Clearcase, bitkeeper, git).
• Ideally knowledge of alternative delivery approaches (e.g Agile)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Proficiency in most or all of the following software areas is required:
• SAP Business Objects XI (R3.1)
Proficient at designing, creating, documenting, and testing of:
- Universes
- Web Intelligence and Live Office reports
- Dashboards (Xcelsius)

(Using Oracle and/or Microsoft SQLServer database back-end)
• Oracle PLSQL (database packages and stored procedures),
• Oracle Forms & Reports (10gR2)
• Relational database design skills
• Dimensional Modelling and Data Warehouse skills (to include Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) concepts and implementation skills).

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the delivery of Business Objects (up to version XI Release 3.1) and Oracle Forms, Reports, & PLSQL based application systems (up to 10gR2). Experience in a technical role where you have played a key role in specification and design of a database application using large datasets would be desirable.
The candidate will also most probably have experience in the development of systems for wholesale banking, treasury & loan management areas. The successful candidate will also ideally have had some exposure to compliance and audit requirements in a controlled financial environment.

This will be combined with good written and verbal communication skills and a Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computing or Engineering.
Knowledge and experience of the following technologies would also be of benefit:
• Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) Suite Dashboarding & BI Publisher
• Microsoft SharePoint
• Java, HTML, XML, PHP, CSS, Javascript
 Sql Data Modeller (or an equivalent data modelling tool)
 Sql Navigator / Toad

- Previous experience in using reporting tools Business Objects, Cognos, Brio or OLAP.
- Ability to interpret Financial / Non-Financial Data
