Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Business Support Manager you will be working as a programmer within a dynamic project management team on a number of projects.
• Planning, developing, testing and documenting computer programs
• Developing specifications for designs to determine their feasibility, cost and required time to complete
• Formulating plans outlining steps necessary to develop programs, using approved structure analysis and design.
• Recreating steps taken by users to locate problem sources then rewrites the program to correct errors.
• Providing expert level assistance in design, development and improvement within Java
• Assisting with processing and data modelling in diverse database and application environments
• Contributing to systems architectural design, analysis, development and improvement

Summary of Post:
Embedded C coding in support of various cap sense projects for tier 1 customers
To create and maintain software and hardware solutions in support of assigned projects
To work closely with the Team Leader and other team members to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects
Keep updated with latest developments in technology
Ensure regular communication with the commercial, project management and marketing team as involvement with customer facing activities


Duties:

Participate in team design reviews as appropriate
Facilitate schematic & BOM creation
Provide the basis & some content for product documentation
Undertake open-ended design projects based on customer input
Ensure coherent & professional communication with customer peer groups
