My client has a suite of applications it is looking to go mobile. The candidate must have at least 2 years experience developing iPhone / iPad applications using Objective C. Background experience in iPhone/Android development is required alongside proven capability in leading projects from inception to completion including requirements documentation and system design.

Description: FPGA Design Engineer
We are looking for Engineers with in-depth knowledge of FPGA design and architecture, and the ability to translate problems into hardware solutions. The candidate will bring their vision from concept through to production including hardware selection, FPGA design, driver and API. Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, PCI-E protocols and x86 architecture is required, As well as experience implementing performance optimised solutions around these.
Responsibilities
• Architect and design solutions to accelerate key areas of our infrastructure including hardware selection and key functional blocks.
• Implement solutions from the board to API and deploy out to a production environment.
• Interact with software teams to capture and design solutions in hardware.
• Minimum five years in VHDL/Verilog, C and C++.
• A desire to develop excellent solutions used daily and a passion in contributing throughout a technology environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Individually or as part of a project team develop and implement software solutions to meet customer commitments.
-Take ownership of support requests, seeing them through to successful resolution

- Develop a good knowledge of at least one product within the suite, with a working knowledge of the broader suite of products.
- Liaise closely and collaboratively with the customer (internal or external)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Degree Qualified with at least 0-1 years relevant experience.
- Experience in a Development or Support & Maintenance role is desirable.
- Experience within a Unix environment. Requires knowledge of Unix commands and concepts including environment variables, file permissions, login/out procedures, shell scripting.
- Knowledge of SQL and at least one of C/C++/Java/Perl/Delphi is required.
- Experience with Oracle is desirable.,br>
- Analytical problem solving skills to aid in swift problem diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- An aptitude for grasping problems and solutions in a business as well as a technical sense.
The role requires technical knowledge but also an ability to understand the impact of the problem on the customer’s business.
- Clear and professional communication skills (oral and written) and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a sense of urgency.
- Industry experience is desirable, particularly in the area of telecommunications.
