Description: I large Financial Services Client based in Dublin (Not a bank) is looking for a permanent and maybe one contract Stratus Analyst Programmer. The role will involve developing Real-time Applications using Stratus on VOS platform. Ideally you will have 3-5 years Stratus but the client will also consider Cobol Developers with a good knowledge of Card Processing Systems (Credit Card/ Debit cards systems etc). Apparently Cobol and Stratus are very similar in origin so it would be an easier learning curve.

Duties:
• Enhance and support existing applications effectively in consultation with the business units.
• Design, develop and implement amendments and enhancements Mailbox Support of systems.
• Adopt processes in development life cycle.
• Troubleshoot technical issues.

Qualifications\Technologies:
Degree in I.T. or equivalent experience
AS400 , DB2 , COBOL, SQL.
Servers configuration.
Visual Basic script.
FTP scripts.
Windows command line.

Skills & Experience:

Have at least 2-3 years experience in analysis, design, and development
Proven Track record of achieving results in relation to delivery of change within agreed budgets and timescales.
Should have good organizational and time management skills.
Should be an enthusiastic team worker with strong verbal, written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
