The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
Qualifications:
Third-level I.T qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience:
A strong technical background is required. A minimum of 1-2 years hand-on development experience with Cognos BI platforms (must include at least 6 months to 1 years Cognos 8 BI) is required.
Full project lifecycle experience (from requirements through to deployment) is required.
Experience of data warehouse architecture, design, development and support is desirable.
Any experience of Oracle database / PL/SQL development is highly advantageous.

Other Skills:

Description: Business Intelligence Team Lead required for Top Financial Services Company based in Dublin.
Key tasks & responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of the technical elements of the BI projects they are responsible for.

Manage the design and build of complete BI solutions to agreed standards.

Provide a strategic input in defining and reviewing the BI coding standards. This should include specific reference to industry standards and technologies (Inmon, Kimball and COGNOS)
