Description: My Client is looking for a Tester with experience of testing Retail systems applications or EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale Systems).
Main duties & responsibilities:
Working closely with the Development manager and the business to ensure that applications are delivered in a high quality fashion

* Participate in test plan creation and maintenance

* Hands on testing experience of EPoS software and identifying problems

* Verification of all bug fixes

* Troubleshooting application configuration issues

Essential Competencies:

* Enthusiastic and structured approach to application testing

* Experienced in writing and executing test plans

* Good analytical and problem solving skills

* Ability to work in a team environment and have good interpersonal skills

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent organisational and documentation skills

* Technical competency with Windows environments


Experience:

* Preferably a minimum of two years EPoS Testing experience

* In-depth knowledge of IBM iSeries/Power servers is an advantage
