Liaise with Systems Manager and Development team on assigned open issues, until they are resolved and closed

Skill Set:
Skills and Experience Required:
- Ideally 4 years experience (need to have ERP knowledge)
- Knowledge of Windows nice to have
- Expert Knowledge of SQL is a must
- Knowledge of other Microsoft programming languages a plus

- Must understand the principals of accounting and finance

Remuneration Package:

JD Edwards / ERP Business Analyst
This is a permanent role – based in Germany (are you open to relocating) ???
Preference is to have someone with JD Edwards experience however my client will also look at good SAP Business Consultants with either FICO, SD / MM experience.
Primary Function: Support business processes, resolve tickets and successfully manage ad hoc ERP projects
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
•Support users/key users in functional areas through an established Service Desk / ticketing system
•Analyse data to determine root cause of errors, problems
•Manage small projects for continued business process improvement
•Implement training and system configuration requirements for appropriate areas
•Configure J.D. Edwards according to the established business model
•Develop functional requirements (change requests) for system enhancements
•Work closely with developers for agreed enhancements and additional reports
•Develop application scripts to assist with train the trainer programmes and end user training
•Document existing process flows
Other duties as assigned
Education and or Experience/Qualifications:
•Degree qualified or at least degree calibre
•Prior experience in Oracle J.D. Edwards World (A7.3 or higher) and/or Enterprise 1.0 (Xe or higher) – not essential! SAP experience is relevant
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
•Self-motivated with ability to organise projects and report status and progress
•Able to travel and work effectively in a remote situation with all levels of the organisation

Scope of the Role:
• Ensure business operations are supported to safeguard on time delivery to the customer.
• Continuous development of all IT hardware, software and peripherals within the business.
ERP Implementation Responsibilities:
• To engage with all areas and levels of the business to review the business processes / flows, redefine if necessary and ultimately capture the ERP detailed requirements.
• To develop the project implementation plan, to include defining and confirming the project goals, identifying tasks, quantifying the resources needed as well as the budget & time lines required for project completion.
• To manage the execution of the project implementation plan, which includes the installation, data migration, configuration and server and network capability interface of Microsoft NAV software.
• To deliver requirements analysis regarding all technical areas like Hardware Sizing, Networks, VPN, WEB technology, database management (Microsoft SQL), and backup scenarios.
• To develop training manuals and business processes and procedures.
IT Manager Responsibilities:
• Ensure the IT department maintain the current management systems (network, server and storage infrastructure) to deliver an efficient service and optimal system uptime.
• Continuously review and analyse the business processes, re-defining as necessary, to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Ensure that all Projects undertaken are delivered on time and on budget.
• Manage maintenance schedules and costs concerning management systems.
• Acquisition of necessary Systems & Resources.
• Continually review and manage the Business’s Continuity Plan.
• Manage the department in controlling the I.T. systems by giving clarity on the expectations of the business, and by ensuring they have the resources / skills they require to meet the needs of a changing business. Manage any skills gaps identified through mentoring / formal training / team development.
• Be adaptable to the changing demands of the business and continually challenge work practices to ensure they are meeting the result of the business, while understanding the commercial aspect of IT.
• To work as part of the Senior Management Team and be proactive and supportive in a busy manufacturing environment.
Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Project management experience in ERP Implementation ( Preferably Microsoft NAV) in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong PM background with five or more years of experience, with skills including planning, time management, prioritisation, multi-tasking and documentation.
• Experience in tracking, reporting, and overseeing projects with a successful track record.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of organisational hierarchy (from line-level employees to senior management).
• Ability to be proactive, solve complex problems and work unsupervised.
• Must be able to work flexibly with regard to travel, business activities and hours .
