The VBA Model Development & Validation Specialist role is responsible for the continuing development and maintenance of a Redress Validation Model (RVM) using mainly VBA and also for updating documentation around design changes and controls within the RVM

Responsibilities of the VBA:
• Document the updated design changes
• Document the control checks
• Continuing development and maintenance using mainly VBA
• Creating of VBA procedures to import data
• Testing of any development changes made

Skills required for VBA Developer:
• Excellent MS Excel & VBA skills
• Experience of model development and documentation
• Financiall modelling
• Generic Business Analyst skillset e.g. numeric, develop/follow and modify process as appropriate
• Numerically proficient
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative

My client requires a Technical Project Manager, who has experience of implementing projects on an API platform.

Skills required for Technical Project Manager:
• Strong project management capability and evidence of delivering against challenging timelines and within budget
• Experience of dealing with and coordinating multiple third parties in a technical environment
• Delivering complex integration projects, ESB or API management would be a distinct advantage
• Ability to interact with both Business and Technical stakeholders as appropriate
• Strong project governance skills with experience of reporting to “C” level if required
• Experience in financial services with exposure to payments would be a distinct advantage
• A background in applications development would be an advantage given the technical nature of the delivery.

This is an opportunity to get involved in an exciting project and gain exposure to best in breed technology solutions, with a leading Financial Services Company based in Cork. This is an 18 month fixed term contract and there may be the requirement to travel to Dublin on occasion.

Description: My Dublin based client is currently looking for an experienced Control and Risk Support Analyst to join their expanding team in a permanent role.

Background / Purpose of Role:

This role has responsilibility for providing ITIL operating process owners, Software Development lifecycle and Project Management lifecycles owners across with support in risk and control activities at an operational level. This includes assistance with process standardisation as well as the incorporation of Financial Reporting Controls into operating processes
Key responsibilities:
Operating Controls Support
• Support the Design and Management of the Process and Controls Framework
• Assist in defining control requirements for core operating processes
• Liaise with Process Owners to ensure that control requirements are understood and fully integrated into operating processes
• Identify the risks relevant to specific functional areas and assist in developing practical and effective controls to mitigate the key risks
• Spread an awareness and share knowledge of operating process guidance and standards such as COBiT, ITIL, PMBoK and DAMA
• Participate in Risk and Compliance governance meetings as required

Continuous Improvement
• Analyse and enhance operating processes as appropriate

Audit, Risk and Compliance
• Support audit and compliance remediation in terms of control and risk documentation (where appropriate)
• Assist with the maintenance & monitoring of standards, controls, processes and solutions, to minimise business and IT risk

Management Support
• Support Management with the embedding of the new culture and behaviours
• Positive and proactive participation within the team and active collaboration with colleagues across as appropriate

Key Requirements of this role:
Experience
• Confident in dealing with all levels within the organisation

• An abilities to facilitate and negotiate
• The ability to manage well under pressure and to operate in a decisive and inclusive manner
Skills
• Knowledge of Live systems support / systems development / Service Management
• Understanding of Process , Control and Risk activities

• Awareness / knowledge of Frameworks such as COBiT, ITIL AND PMBoKv
• Analytical Thinking
• Understanding of audit purpose and process

The Role of the Business Analyst:
The Business Analyst will work as part of a small dynamic team to proactively provide MI and Business Analysis services to the company. They will support their colleagues defining and delivering the company’s Project Portfolio - ensuring effective delivery of Change to budget, quality and within desired timescales.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
• Utilising product and industry knowledge - analyse, reengineer and document a set of new and/or existing processes to agreed standards, quality and within timelines
• Ensure build or acquisition of all systems/tools/documents etc. to support the re-engineered process.
• Delivery of MI reporting suite to the business.
• User-document, train and support end-users in new and existing operational processes.
• Embed deliverables into the organisation, achieving a consistent resilient and reliable service whilst ensuring all business benefits are realized.
• Provide ongoing Technical support
• As required, Project Manage, provide project office services or participate as technical-change-Lead in prioritised projects

Skills required for the Business Analyst:
• A third level computing qualification, ideally 2.1 or higher.
• 3-5 years experience as a Business Analyst

• Experience of Software Change Management and Test Management tools.
• Ability to write basic SQL and query datasets.
• A key client-facing interface between business and IT, with responsibility for the Analysis and Testing of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Experience in Financial Services.
• Ability to operate within strict delivery deadlines.
• Strong time management and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise workload and multi-task several initiatives at the same time.
• An inquisitive nature to query other team members on specific technology or business issues.
• Strong oral, written communication and collaboration skills.

We are a leading multinational card payment acquirer and payment processing company. We are currently seeking experienced Customer Service professionals, ideally with a background in financial services or payment services.


Roles/Responsibilities:
• Handling inbound customer calls and queries through to resolution with focus on first-time resolve
• Taking ownership of calls and ensuring all steps are carried out to support a resolution with customer – escalate calls upwards efficiently to next level for fast resolution and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Deal efficiently & effectively to all customer queries whilst maintaining excellent customer service through every call at all times.
• Calls will be monitored and feedback will be given to support continuous improvement with call handling. You will be responsible to effect all recommendations with always a focus on continuous improvements.
• Taking appropriate responsibility to process confidential information in a secure manner
• Depending on experience in role, more duties may be added to help streamline process and enhance customer satisfaction with our products and services
• Keeping customer informed (KCI) – in accordance with set KPI’s while customer queries/escalations are being resolved.

Experience
• Previous experience within a call centre / customer service environment including inbound and outbound calls, preferably within the financial services or payment processing industries would be an advantage
• Performance driven, and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work on own initiative, and to be a team player.
• Communication skills - excellent verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule (which will include shift hours with some weekend work)
