Description: Fantastic New Permanent opportunity for a Systems Engineer with a Global Financial Services Organisation
Key Accountabilities
The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include but not necessarily be limited to the following:
To play a key role in the development and support of our existing Workflow and Document Management applications as well as the development of new functionality for these systems.
This may also include potential redevelopment of other IT systems as part of our overall Technical strategy.
Provide technical consultancy and expertise during all various phases of design and development and to troubleshoot any technical issues that should arise, such as performance concerns.
Skills and Experience
Technical Competencies:
IT graduate with 5+ years development experience using Microsoft Visual Basic / .NET and knowledge of Oracle RDBMS.
5+ years development experience of IBM FileNET’s Visual Workflow and Image Services systems and exposure to IBM FileNET P8 environment would be highly advantageous
Extensive technical knowledge of company IT systems, and ability to learn new systems quickly

Non-Technical Competencies:
A logical mindset is essential
Ability to work to tight deadlines & to work independently on own initiative
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Must have excellent communications skills and have a proven ability at selling ideas and co-opting buy-in and commitment from work colleagues.
Must be flexible, proactive and focused in approach to work.
Experience of working as part of a project team.
Good customer focus.
