Candidates should have the following background:
•Minimum of 8 years projects management experience of small, mid and large scale complex IT projects, in cross functional environments
•Change projects management experience in General Insurance or Financial Services essential
•Experience leading and delivering projects working at senior executive level in an International environment essential
•Applied knowledge of process and workflow improvement techniques required
Accreditation in recognized Project Management methods preferable

Key Skills required:
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to communicate, influence and engage with Senior Executives from across our business units

•Excellent change project management skills with a well developed understanding of their application from a business context

•Excellent working knowledge of a range of technology project development lifecycle(s) across mainframe, client server and web based technology

•Extensive understanding of the cost benefit analysis and project accounting methods, and their application in large scale cross functional projects

•Excellent people management and team building skills combined with strong influencing and critical reasoning skills and sound judgment

•Strong operational, business and IT management skills and the knowledge to know when and how to apply within the management framework for a specific project

•Must be able to establish and lead cross functional teams across multiple locations to deliver solutions that meet business needs and objectives

•Ability to define project management processes, tools and templates as required for the project
Key Responsibilities:
•Defines project scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets and approach with Project sponsors and business partners.
•Manages project delivery scope and budget, works with project sponsors and partners to prepare delivery plans, tracks and reports progress against plan including change management
•Builds, leads and motivates multi disciplinary teams to achieve the core project business objectives
•Effective management of, and communication to, the project stakeholders often at senior executive level, is key to enable and facilitate project planning and execution
•Ensure project lifecycle, execution and reporting is in compliance with PMO standards.
•Ensure an appropriate quality plan is in place for project delivery and all stakeholders and delivery partners understand their part in project execution.
•Manage resource assignment to the project to ensure the necessary resources are made available at the right time to support project execution.
•Communicate and schedule any reliance on third party resources within the project plan, and provide forum for regular leadership reviews.

Description: An excellent insurance client in Dublin City are looking to take on a Senior Technical Writer for a permanent role.

The Technical Writer will be a member of team with responsibility to document a number of applications that have been developed in-house.
Responsibilities
Including but are not limited to:

Be able to produce and deliver customised documentation for various in-house applications, up to Solvency II
standards

The level of documentation will depend on Solvency II requirements. Initial documentation will focus on functionality of
the applications and high level description of code. At a later stage, more detailed documentation of code will be
