The role is part of the regional IT team delivering applications and infrastructure support, IT service management and acting as a face of the IT organisation to the business.
The role is responsible and/or accountable for the IT services delivered to the site. Job holder will be also expected to drive the introductions of new system application / infrastructure components by engaging with the business, listening, capturing the requirements and connecting with other IT teams to deliver a well defined, affordable and fit for purpose solutions.
Key accountability of the role:
Operational Excellence :
Be accountable for the high quality application support and delivery of CIPs for the supported regional/local applications
Own and ensure overall reliability / availability of local IT infrastructure
Be the escalation point and first point of contact for all application and infrastructure enquiries from the business (requests, ideas, issues)
Measure and communicate local IT metrics for the site and drive improvement plan
Ensure users are well trained and they are able to use supported systems
Organise/participate in the service review meetings with the business community
Strategic Partnership :
Act as the interface between the business and the IT organisation (face of IS to the business; manage overall communication and escalations)
Help business in all IT initiatives, consult in IT related questions
Own the site IT gameplan via IT governance meetings
Business Solutions :
Understand the business processes supported by local and global solutions and propose new IT solutions to further improve them.
Act as a business analyst and/or project manager. Plan, set up and manage/co-ordinate the development activities or small/medium local IT projects.
Execute, review and monitor adherence to policies and IT security and technical standards.
World Class IT Service :
Be accountable for overall customer satisfaction level.
Manage the IS survey (Promotion, Result analysis, action planning, communication follow-ups)
Be an active member of the Multisales business partnership team
Manage the Irish IT CAB budget
Ensure all maintenance and support contracts are in place (e.g. hardware-software support)
Support the Multisales business partnership manager in the local budgets management
Execution of license & syndication key reviews for the operating plan

Responsible for design, maintenance and ongoing governance and execution of security processes, security technical subsystems and components, implementation and integration within overall wider systems, projects and third parties accessing technologies.
Responsible for overseeing the IT security standards, policies and procedures appropriate to the Information Security needs.
Overall system security Design Authority for the system security architecture.
Presentation of security approach and designs to senior management and IT colleagues
Maintain awareness and understanding of applicable EU, state and industry regulations and aligning risk controls and technology with them
Ensuring business understanding of key IT security risks and IT risk strategies and their impact through effective communication, awareness raising and training initiatives
Responsible for the continual maintenance the IT risk register including assigning and co-ordinating the risk control actions.
Responsible for collaboration with the group risk function.
Leading the process of defining the security design of all IT systems, including high level and detailed design planning and/or reviews
Maintain a deep understanding of infrastructure IT security and risk trends as well as a high level of expertise around enterprise products and technologies
Provide continuity and consistency in all major IT security solution decisions.
With Job Rotation, responsibilities may be extended to include other IT areas and the successful candidate will need to skill-up to have a working knowledge of these areas.
Success will be measured by the levels of awareness and acceptance of IT security and risk into culture and embedded in enterprise processes including demand management, change management, project management and operational support activity.

The ideal candidate for this role is a flexible and dynamic individual, a self-starter who displays the following attributes:
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline
At least seven years of secure system design and implementation
Working experience of both IT security and risk management for a period of more than 2 years
Deep understanding and application of the security disciplines, processes, concepts and best practices
Deep understanding and application of secure network design, secure information architecture, secure internet service delivery
Certified and working knowledge of TOGAF or security standards and certifications
Excellent salary and career progression
