In this role the successful candidate will lead and manage a group of Java developers with a strong variety of skills and experience. This team deliver requirements on the front-end and back-end of product and work closely with Test/QA Engineers and Protocol developers on a project by project basis.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing the individual members of the Java team and their contribution to various project teams
Providing technical leadership and support to team members
Establishing and maintaining a team ethos and focus on innovative solutions

Work with other departments including Project Management, Product Management, Architecture and Test to help provide a world class product and product development environment/culture
2+ years of team leading in a Java software development role
Minimum 7 years Java/EE Development experience
Experience of full product life cycle development
Must be a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills (both written and verbal), highly professional and able to communicate directly with the engineers as well as product management and project management
Must be highly motivated, self-driven with a focus on quality, teamwork, planning and innovation
A good understanding of Hibernate/Spring
