Description: Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to work for a cutting Edge Organisation -Dublin South Side.
PROFILE
Experienced Java developer, with good knowledge of enterprise solution and n-tier architecture.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop java code for implementing new product functionality and customizing existing ones to Customer’s requirement

2. Provide feedback on Technical Specification, Requirements and Design

3. Perform Unit Test and support Integration

3. Collaborate with QA team

4. Adhere to company standards, and promote best practices.

5. Provide estimates, track progress and report on status for own work

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
1. A B Sc. or M Sc degree in IT
2. Very strong knowledge of Java at least 3 years (preferably 5) professional experience:
· MUST: J2SE, JDBC, JSP/Servlet, JNI, XML, ANT, Eclipse, Web-Services (SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, JAXP)
· PREFERABLY: Spring, JUnit, SOAP UI and other Java testing tools
· NICE TO HAVE: JCE/JCA, Hibernate, PL/SQL

3. Object oriented analysis, design experience
4. Tomcat (and other application server), with web-services (Fuse or Axis)
5. Source code Management
6. SQL experience - Oracle
7. Good interpersonal skills
8. Excellent verbal and written communication
9. Analytical and problem-solving skills
10. Ability to work on own initiative
