Summary
The Website Developer is responsible for implementing the functionality of a commercial website ensuring client design is implemented per client requirements. Develops web pages and content that align with client functional requirements and presentation. Description: Senior Software Developer - Java
The senior software developer will be responsible for working within the development team on the product suite and on client development projects using Agile/XP development methodologies.
Requirements
Knowledge and proven experience in the following technical areas:
* Senior experience with Agile software development lifecycle methodologies and coding standards.
* Expert knowledge of Linux/Unix environment is essential.
* Expert in Java, J2EE, J2SE, Servlets, JSPs, JDBC, Threads/Concurrency, Spring frameworks.
* Java design patterns
* Database design, tuning. DB servers (IBM DB2, MySQL). Hibernate ORM.
* Experience with markup languages XML, WML, HTML etc.
