Description:
We are a leading multinational card payment acquirer and payment processing company. Due to rapid growth we are now looking to expand and create a technical support team. You will be responsible for handling queries from our client’s payment acceptance customer base. You will also liaise with several internal and external parties in order to address and resolve reported issues in a timely manner. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate with career progression opportunities.

Requirements:
• 1+ years of experience in a technical support environment required.
• Acquiring and e-Commerce experience desirable but not essential.
• Proven resolution, logical troubleshooting, customer service and customer satisfaction skills.
• Strong communication/listening skills.
• Has a pleasant, patient and friendly attitude.
• Strong decision making and analytical abilities.
• Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality.
• Excellent computer skills are necessary as well as the ability to solve problems and troubleshoot.
• Ability to take ownership, organise workload and change priorities quickly.
• Flexible working hours required, shifts patterns cover the hours from 8am – 8pm, 7 days a week. You will be required to work 1 in 3 weekends.

Responsibilities:
• To provide technical support in resolving all technical queries.
• Contribute to creating and updating a support knowledge base, you will have a passion for learning and knowledge share.
• Working as part of a team, you will work to both individual and group targets.
• Provide excellent customer technical support, you will strive for first call resolution with each case.
• Take ownership of and manage incidents through to resolution.
• Liaise with various internal departments and engineering groups to resolve customer queries and complaints.
• Log customer information and action to the relevant database/system

Description: My Dublin City Centre based client is currently looking for an experienced Helpdesk Operator to join their expanding team in a permanent role.

The successful candidate will provide front line support to the company’s clients and employees on their supported applications, systems and websites.
The candidate will troubleshoot problems, determine issue sources and advise on appropriate action. This position is a client facing role, therefore a positive, client-focussed image whilst resolving incidents in a timely and efficient manner is required.
This role requires working closely with all business functions, their clients and employees to ensure business results are achieved.

Reporting Relationship
The position reports to the ICT Manager.
ICT is responsible for the oversight & delivery of all IT and Communications aspects of the company.

Standard Duties of the Post
• Provide first level support to clients and employees of systems and develop action plans to resolve issues
• Redirect relevant queries to appropriate business department as required
• Monitor issue trends & analysis with view to resolution
• Manage, monitor and update user access and data entry on selected databases and websites
• Update helpdesk standard templates, policies and procedures, training and support documentation as required
• Operate the helpdesk within defined hours and support incoming client queries
• Assist in testing new business systems as required
• Assist in preparing training documentation and assist scheduling as required for cross business training

Person Specification
• Highly computer literate in MS Office & other business systems. Proven exposure to a mixture of business systems
• 3-5 years in a similar role with a proven ability to handle and resolve real time customer queries
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to handle periodic peaks in call levels in a calm & professional manner
• Willingness to learn about the business & apply knowledge to resolution of issues

Requirements:

• Provide a point of contact for customers who need to log support incidents via phone or email
• Logging of all incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant information is obtained and recorded on incident logging software
• Provide problem diagnosis, using appropriate support tools for hardware, software & in-house applications
• Escalate more complex or critical issues to appropriate senior staff
• Ensuring that all cases owned by the Service Desk are resolved in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Deliver outstanding customer service standards by answering all calls promptly, remaining courteous and professional at all times
• Ensure processes, procedures and resolutions are documented and updated regularly on the Service Desk knowledge base
• Develop and maintain a complete understanding of the clients products and on-going releases
• Any other duties deemed required as part of the day to day role
• May be required to take part in on call rota

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience of working in a Helpdesk/ Service Desk or support environment
• Excellent working knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems (Win XP and Win 7,8)
• Good working knowledge of Apple Macs an advantage
• Administrative Knowledge of Server Support – 2003, 2008 and 2012
• Microsoft Active Directory administration skills
• Microsoft Exchange knowledge an advantage
• Firewall, routing and switching experience an advantage
• Good backup Software Support knowledge
• Strong Interpersonal skills with ability to support and communicate with users on all levels
• Sound troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Self-starter who uses own initiative
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
• Must hold a driving licence
• Fluent English essential

• ITIL knowledge and experience
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure and MS Office 365
