Job Description:
Reporting to the ICT Team Leader, the principal duties of the position include:
• Development of new and existing systems based on the technologies listed below
• Software development management experience and a solid understanding of software development life cycles
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong influencing skills with the confidence to deal with staff at all levels throughout the organisation
• Capable of generating ideas in collaboration with others (through brainstorming, mind-mapping etc.) and translating them into practical solutions
• A pro-active problem solver with the ability to pre-empt potential issues and to learn quickly
• Self-motivated, with a proven ability to get things done
• Any other duties that may be assigned as appropriate to the position.
Eligibility/Personal requirements
Education, Experience & Knowledge
Essential
• Knowledge and experience of
o NET / ASP.NET
o Microsoft SQL Server (2005/2008)
o Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Microsoft Sharepoint 2010
• Relevant Third level qualification or equivalent
• High level of analytical and problem solving skills, ability to understand complex problems and to generate appropriate technical solutions.
Desirable
• Microsoft Certification in Dynamics CRM or Sharepoint
• Microsoft IIS
• Experience of designing and developing Systems using framework approaches
• Proven track record of project leading/management and co-ordination with groups across both technological and business areas
