Description: My Dublin based client is currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their expanding team in a permanent role.
Objective: The company is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of IT department projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and within agreed funding parameters.
Specifically, the duties of the post will include:
• Participating in IT portfolio management activities, collaborating with both IT and business unit leaders.
• Reviewing project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding requirements, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available departmental resources to various phases of projects.
• Managing internal and external systems/application development projects within assigned areas from inception to successful implementation.
• Establishing work plans for each phase of project, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
• Identifying and scheduling project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
• Defining project objectives, scope, and level of effort.
• Developing project strategies and plans, and identifying the methods and tools required for the project.
• Assigning duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel.
• Initiating projects, keeping projects on track and on budget, and resolving issues with customers.
• Monitoring progress against plans.

Responsibilities of this post are as follows:

• Managing the project team that develops and carries out internal IT projects by monitoring project activities.
• Ensuring the quality and integrity of project information and providing consistency in content and “look and feel” across the enterprise.
• Working closely with the assigned user community (and through business analysts) in determining how technology can assist them.
• Translating user needs into system requirements and design specifications.
• Providing leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle.
• Reviewing status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.
• Escalating any project issues including timing, budget, resources, scope and more, to upper management in a timely manner.
• Collaborating closely with senior IT Department colleagues on enterprise-wide projects.
• Preparing project status reports and/or project portfolio summaries for management, business unit leaders, and IT management.
• Performing customer surveys ensuring customer satisfaction remains high.
• Establishing standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
• Working with project personnel to provide guidance and to resolve problems.
• Leading the effort in creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables supporting business needs.
• Adhering to best project management practices and methodologies.
• Working at their other locations as required to meet the needs of specific projects. This may entail some infrequent international travel to their other locations.

Person Specification Essential
• Bachelor’s degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
• At least 7 years IT experience, including managing IT projects.
• Strong client facing skillset.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Strong change management skills and ability to influence decision makers.
• Ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong project management skills which includes experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.
• Strong portfolio management skills.

ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the PMO Manager, the Project Management Officer will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the Project Management Office (PMO).
This includes the management and coordination of the overall portfolio of projects, management of the Project Management Framework, provision of key information on the progress of the portfolio to relevant stakeholders, and acting as the first point of contact for all project requests from the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Objectives
o Support the Business Services Manager in the management and on going development of the Project Management Office (PMO)
o Working with the PMO Manager to prioritise work objectives and to ensure that the operational goals of the section are achieved
o Ensure alignment of projects with company strategy
Qualifications and Experience
- To be considered for this post, candidates must have:
o A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a PMO function
o Direct experience working with stakeholders/customers
o Strong working knowledge of IT systems, including intermediate ability in MS office suite at a minimum
o Excellent communication and report writing skills
o Proven ability to work to strict deadlines
o Strong attention to detail
o Excellent negotiation skills
o Excellent organisational skills
- In addition to this the ideal candidate will have:
o Achieved or be working towards a project management qualification

My client is looking for a Project Office Lead. Its a permanent role for a large corporate firm in Dublin City Centre.
Level: 3+ years' project management experience
The Project Office Lead, responsible for all delivering project activities as defined by the PMO, while under the direction of the client's Senior Project Manager. This involves ensuring that all aspects of the project are in compliance with the PMO Framework and processes.
Responsibilities:
Ensure appropriate project governance is applied to each element of the project.
Ensure the PMO standards, procedures, tools and templates are rolled out and used consistently and effectively in the project.
Actively engage with the Project Manager in planning, administration and reporting according to PMO standards.
Support the project manager in the analysis of risks & issues utilising PMO quality control processes and procedures.
Liaise between the project teams to collate, document, store and report information and decisions.
Prepare documentation for, and record minutes related to, on-going project meetings, ensuring circulation to all related/concerned parties.
Responsibilities to the PMO:
Act as advocate to the PMO.
Work with the PMO to plan and implement activities for improvement of specific project plans and project management processes.
Attend monthly PMO workshops.
Experience
Demonstrable experience in project scheduling, scoping, planning, vendor management, risk and issue management, reporting and escalations, delivery and project reviews.

Experience:

• experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• Must have experience facilitating a projects across multiple locations, multiple companies and software vendors.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and PMP certification is also a plus.
Requirements:
• Strong technical background within an n-tier global application environment
• Strong Knowledge Project Management Tools i.e. MS Project, JIRA
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience within Banking/Financial Services in areas of Asset Servicing
• Strong team management skills and experience working with global teams
Desired:
• Knowledge of Accounting, Custody and Securities processing platforms
• Knowledge of Agile / Lean
• PMP Certification

My Dublin city centre based client is currently looking for an experienced Project Administrator to help with the day-to-day running of the Project Management Office, as well as supporting the IT Team in an Administrator capacity.

This role supports the Project Management Team through the full Project Delivery Lifecycle, maintaining records and providing regular and ad-hoc reporting. The role also assists in the management and tracking of project budgets, staff utilisation, 3rd party supplier invoicing, event organisation, and IT Team reporting to Senior Management.

Duties:

• Assisting Project Managers, leaders and the wider IT team during the project lifecycle
• Working with vendors and business stakeholders to track project deliveries, including management of status reports, and monitoring of project budgets
• Developing positive relationships across the IT Team and within my client to ensure communication is open and transparent, facilitating early identification of issues and risks
• Facilitating project managers in reviews, and maintaining and tracking a central IT Team action list
• Understanding deliverables to internal and external customers
• Maintain an understanding of my clients environment and, where required, customer policies and procedures relevant to Project Delivery activities we undertake
• Working with Teams to guide Subject Matter Experts who are participating as Business Representatives in IT Projects, helping them to work through their project responsibilities
• Providing general administration for the team, IT reporting and purchasing
• Working at locations as required meeting the needs of specific projects. This may entail some infrequent international travel to different locations.

• Formal third level qualification in IT / business

• Strong Microsoft Office skills; able to manipulate data in spreadsheets, and create presentations in PowerPoint

• Prior experience in project tracking, especially proven experience in documenting workshops/meetings
• The confidence to manage action lists and follow up outstanding actions independently
• Strong data management experience.
