Description: Mobile Technical Architect
We are currently seeking a Senior Mobile Application Architect who will work closely with a fantastic IT team to create a state of the art social network platform. We are looking for a leader who is excited to shape our mobile strategy. This position will be responsible for research and strategic roadmaps to support our mobile/ web business initiative. Primary responsibilities will focus on our mobile platforms, which include iOS and Android. Web experience is a plus.
Having strong leadership qualities and being able to work well in an open, dynamic environment is a must, as well as a willingness to share your technical expertise with the team.
The details…. key responsibilities include:
• Defining the Software Architecture Strategy for the implementation of the mobile solution
• Directly responsible for the architecture, system software, and creation of the logical deployment architecture
• Produce Reference Architecture, Technology Architecture documentation, Performance benchmarks for mobility platforms
• Defining and documenting technology standards as they relate to the mobility platforms and backend systems
• Identify and implement strategies for service enabled technologies
• Product and technology evaluations
• Proficient mapping business requirements to technical deliverables
• Aligning the architecture with business objectives and company technology direction
• Developing and maintaining application architecture patterns, standards, policies, and procedures
• Driving Software Development Continuous Improvement
• Overseeing the development of conceptual, logical hardware or software designs
• Participating in full SDLC (agile), including iterative development, estimations, and design sessions
• Guiding implementation of best practices for application design, including tools, and methodologies
• Designing for high performance and scalability in order to ensure that the application is highly scalable and can support high volumes of traffic
• Able to work well under minimal supervision.
• Coaching / mentoring junior staff
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Our Head Office is in Dublin; but position will work from home
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU
• Experience in strategies to architect and design re-usable components across Mobile (iOS and/or Android)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Manage multiple high level priorities
• Ability to effectively learn and use new programming concepts, tools and methodology to support the needs of the business
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and solutions to all levels of business
• 10+ years’ experience with software development experience
• Comprehensive experience with mobility platforms
• Experience in Amazon Web services Platform products and services
• Experience in Web services, Portals, Python and Java
• Experience with data & analytical platforms: Cassandra, Spark, Hadoop
• Experience with Ad Stacks and Content Management Systems
• Strong knowledge of OS and network security (specifically around mobile devices)
• Solid understanding of Objective C, Javascript, HTML 5, iPhone SDK, Java, Android SDK
• Excellent knowledge of most popular mobile operating systems: iOS, Android OS.
• Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in computer science, information systems or other related field; or equivalent work experience.

Description: SDLC Project Manager (Agile/Scrum) - If you have a background in Mobile application project management this would be highly favourable.
This role is exciting for individuals who thrive on high profile projects, software engineering initiatives and timely execution. This role requires full accountability for management of project timelines, scope and milestones for a variety of projects. An ideal candidate is a proactive, results-oriented and possesses both technical and business acumen, experience working in fast-paced development cycles, a track record of product success and natural leadership skills.
Role and Responsibilities:
 Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
 Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
 Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
 Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
 Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
 Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
 Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
 Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
 Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
 Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
 Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
 Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
 Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
 Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
 Track project milestones and deliverables.
 Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
 Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
 Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
 Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
 Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
 Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
 Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
 Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
 Localization experience would definitely be beneficial.
Qualifications & Skills
 Our Head Office is in Dublin; but position will work from home
 Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU
 BS of equivalent from an accredited 4-year university or college required; Masters/MBA preferred and analytic discipline a plus
 5+ years project management experience in fast-paced SDLCs
 Recognized project management qualification. Agile Scrum would be an advantage.
 Excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude.
 Proven track record of delivery.
 Proficient in of project management tools e.g. MS Project.
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills (including executive audiences)
 Excellent analytical and technical writing skills.
 Excellent time management with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
 Be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
 Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
Desirable Skills:
 PMP certification preferred
 Scrum Master training preferred
