Remuneration Package:

This role will involve managing network infrastructure such as firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers, intrusion detection systems, network scanning and change control auditing.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
o On-going management of firewall and loadbalancer changes
o Implementation, documentation and troubleshooting of network configurations, ensuring security and redundancy. Solid experience of OSPF, BGP, Router redundancy protocols, VPN, ISDN, MPLS, Spanning-tree, VTP and network device security hardening will be particularly valued
o Management and tuning of Intrusion Detection Systems, knowledge of network vulnerability scanning & change audit tools and appropriate response to alerts/threats
o Detailed knowledge and experience of network monitoring and troubleshooting
Skill Set:
Previous experience
o A strong background in general administration of network and systems
o Display a competent and a broad working knowledge of networks and systems
o Application of detailed network knowledge and certifications in these areas
o Preferably strong working experience with Build and maintenance of Cisco firewall
o Change management and change implementation in High Availability Enterprise environments
o At least 3 years recent Cisco Network experience of dedicated network and information security
o Experience of the banking or financial services industries would be a distinct advantage

Continuous development of all IT hardware, software and peripherals within the business.
ERP Implementation Responsibilities:
To engage with all areas and levels of the business to review the business processes / flows, redefine if necessary and ultimately capture the ERP detailed requirements.
To develop the project implementation plan, to include defining and confirming the project goals, identifying tasks, quantifying the resources needed as well as the budget & time lines required for project completion.
To manage the execution of the project implementation plan, which includes the installation, data migration, configuration and server and network capability interface of Microsoft NAV software.
To deliver requirements analysis regarding all technical areas like Hardware Sizing, Networks, VPN, WEB technology, database management (Microsoft SQL), and backup scenarios.
To develop training manuals and business processes and procedures.
IT Manager Responsibilities:
Ensure the IT department maintain the current management systems (network, server and storage infrastructure) to deliver an efficient service and optimal system uptime.
Continuously review and analyse the business processes, re-defining as necessary, to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Ensure that all Projects undertaken are delivered on time and on budget.
Manage maintenance schedules and costs concerning management systems.
Acquisition of necessary Systems & Resources.
Continually review and manage the Businesss Continuity Plan.
Manage the department in controlling the I.T. systems by giving clarity on the expectations of the business, and by ensuring they have the resources / skills they require to meet the needs of a changing business. Manage any skills gaps identified through mentoring / formal training / team development.
Be adaptable to the changing demands of the business and continually challenge work practices to ensure they are meeting the result of the business, while understanding the commercial aspect of IT.
To work as part of the Senior Management Team and be proactive and supportive in a busy manufacturing environment.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelors degree.
Project management experience in ERP Implementation ( Preferably Microsoft NAV) in a manufacturing environment.
Strong PM background with five or more years of experience, with skills including planning, time management, prioritisation, multi-tasking and documentation.
Experience in tracking, reporting, and overseeing projects with a successful track record.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of organisational hierarchy (from line-level employees to senior management).
Ability to be proactive, solve complex problems and work unsupervised.
Must be able to work flexibly with regard to travel, business activities and hours .
