Description: Java Team Lead Key Aspects of the Role:
Looking for candidate with in-depth experience with enterprise reporting, analytics/OLAP or business intelligence using Jaspersoft BI product suite. Must be able to write functional and technical design specifications and implement solutions in J2EE and develop automated unit tests.
Minimum job experience is 8+ years in software development industry along with the following experience:
Experience:
• 8+ years’ experience building Java/J2EE business applications including, but not limited to Spring, Hibernate, Web services
• 8+ years’ experience with engineering of multi- tier applications and/ or systems
• 8+ years’ experience in relational database design with either DB2, Oracle or other RDBMS server.
• Experience building complex web 2.0 UI for business applications including, but not limited to AJAX, JSP,DHTML,AJAX, JQuery, JavaScript and CSS. Experience building cross browser-solutions.
• Strong background in Object Oriented programming and demonstrated experience using design patterns.
• Ability to understand complex data models and metadata
• Has worked in agile/scrum team environments. Must have strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams
• Uses Test Driven Development and associated tools
• Experience using source code control systems, such as GIT, Subversion etc.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills: SQL, problem solving, performance tuning, test case analysis.
• Experience developing on application servers such as Apache Tomcat,BEA Web logic or Web sphere.
• Good written and verbal skills
Team Lead Specific experience:
• 8 years hands -on experience designing/developing/configuring with Jaspersoft BI tools or other BI reporting products.
• Hands on experience using the iReport Professional developing reports, JRXML, Jasper Domains and implement any custom scripting for specialized needs,
• Demonstrated experience in customizing the Jaspersoft Server web interface based on specific requirements.
• Knowledge of BI concepts- star schema, etc.
• An understanding of securities and fund process is a definite plus.
• Experience with other BI tools, notably Acuate is a plus.

Project Management:
• Ability to pland and lead agile teams including creating user stories, managing sprints, calculating burn down, etc. Using rally or a similar tool
• Has lead teams of 5-8 developers, BA and testers.
• Ability to coordinate between multiple projects and teams located in different regions
• Excellent written and verbal skills
