Overview:
Excellent Irish SME Consultancy firm is looking for a Project Manager (ERP). You must have a qualification in Project Management and have a proven track history in ERP Implementation projects. The role will involve much travel abroad so ideally you will be based in Dublin or Cork.

Job Description:
Qualifications / Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:
• Managed at least one significant multi-site ERP implementation involving a large project team.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence people at all levels in large organisations.
• A good knowledge of the principles of supply chain management and/or accounting.
• A formal project management qualification.
• The combination of drive and organisational acumen essential to deliver complex projects on time and budget.
• Must be able to travel abroad (3 days minimum per week) and ideally live in Dublin or Cork as due to access to the main Irish Airports.
Skill Set:
Project Management Qualification (e.g. PRINCE 2/ PMP) is desirable.

My Client are looking for an Oracle Business Analyst who will report
to the Corporate Applications Delivery IT Manager, this position serves as a liaison between the internal/external business community and the IT organization in order to provide business solutions to meet user needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for translating high-level, complex business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization, manages changes to such specifications, and educates the IT organization on the direction of the business. They will also be responsible for gathering information about business processes and information flows. Documenting existing processes to evaluate and define new system solutions and implementation processes.

Business Process Analyst -Key Technical Skills required:

Qualifications:
• 5-10 years business experience required, especially in the fields of IT, Accounting and Finance
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) and/or Masters Degree desired
• Experience working with Oracle R12, including GL, AP, PO, FA, AR, AP, Cash Management
• Oracle R12 E-Business tax experience desirable
• Experience working in a multi-currency, global corporation desirable
• Must have experience working on ERP implementations.
• Hyperion Financial Management, Concur, Treasury Workstation, HP Service desk, MS Visio and Project experience helpful.
• 3 to 5 years leadership experience a plus
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and manage to project milestones and deliverables
• Detail-oriented and ability to work well under time constraints and with multiple projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong command of English needed, another language a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Possess the functional, technical and business acumen to interpret what the business expresses as needs and translate them into long term meaningful business solutions that support strategic objectives.
• Working knowledge of multiple applications / technologies (Oracle R12, Concur, Siebel MRM, TWS, HFM, Essbase, Settlement systems)
• Consults with senior IT management and business units on the design of complex and/or strategically important systems and projects
• Act as an internal consultant representing the corporate application delivery function.
• Assign and manage activities of various corporate system project teams, including research, analysis, documentation, design/develop testing, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, and post-rollout review/audit.
• Develop corporate system strategic initiative project plans, and ensure corporate system project deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
• This position may formally or informally manage other analysts.
• Understands multiple IT project methodologies and benefits of each.
• The ability to analyze complex problems and present various meaningful business solutions;
• Can rapidly identify key issues in a complex situation.
• Ability to operate in an unstructured environment.
• Proactively offer improvements and be sought out by the business as a driver of change.
• Responsible for the process design, improvements and integrations with other processes.
• Ability to develop relationships and build rapport with people in a variety of levels and functions, both internally and externally.
• Strong regional awareness with the required cultural and business knowledge to build meaningful relationships across the organization.

Reporting to the IT Technical Manager, the Oracle DBA has responsibility for supporting and maintaining a number of Oracle systems and some non Oracle Systems, ensuring the successful delivery of key business deliverables while actively enhancing the efficiency of these systems.

Working alongside a team of skilled technical resources, comprising analysts, developers, release managers and key support partners this role will also provide technical support to operations. The right candidate would thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced environment, with cutting edge technology in a ‘continuous learning’ work place. Ideally, a solution oriented self starter looking to grow and develop and to make their mark as part of my client’s IT team.


Job Description:

Main duties and responsibilities

• Administration of IT database systems and related environments.
• Perform and provide strategic leadership and knowledge on database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high availability concepts
• Design, implement, and maintain automation of ongoing administration and maintenance tasks
• Implement database and application patches, new releases, including major upgrades to various Oracle Applications.
• Work with analysts and business teams on major new projects and assist on the technical design and implementation of new/enhanced Oracle features available in the industry
• Maintain development, production and multiple testing environments (database and application)
• Capacity planning, monitoring, auditing, database/application performance optimization
• Liaison with external resource/service providers to determine best practice in the industry
• Contributing to the preparation, enhancements and maintenance of systems development standards and guidelines as well as the maintenance of environment change logs
• Adherence to IT development procedures and standards including
• Database Contingency Planning and Implementation
• Corporate database licensing and compliance
• Other duties may also be assigned from time to time

Qualifications/Requirements
• 5 years experience of Oracle databases 9i, 10g and 11g
• 2 years experience Oracle application servers 9i and 10g
• 2 years Oracle RAC experience.
• UNIX administration skills or excellent understanding of midrange server architectures.
• At least 2 years ‘hands on’ relevant experience in a customer facing role supporting a large customer care and billing system.
• Suitable third level qualification in computer science or related field
• Enthusiastic self starter with a proactive approach to problem solving and systems development
• Strong ability to work to project deadlines and project plans
• Knowledge of industry-standard methodologies, tools and environments

Skill Set:
• 5 years experience of Oracle databases 9i, 10g and 11g
• 2 years experience Oracle application servers 9i and 10g
• 2 years Oracle RAC experience
