• Managed at least one significant multi-site ERP implementation involving a large project team.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence people at all levels in large organisations.
• A good knowledge of the principles of supply chain management and/or accounting.
• A formal project management qualification.
• The combination of drive and organisational acumen essential to deliver complex projects on time and budget.
• Must be able to travel abroad (3 days minimum per week) and ideally live in Dublin or Cork as due to access to the main Irish Airports.
Skill Set:
Project Management Qualification (e.g. PRINCE 2/ PMP) is desirable.

Job Description:
My Client are looking for an Oracle Business Analyst who will report
to the Corporate Applications Delivery IT Manager, this position serves as a liaison between the internal/external business community and the IT organization in order to provide business solutions to meet user needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for translating high-level, complex business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization, manages changes to such specifications, and educates the IT organization on the direction of the business. They will also be responsible for gathering information about business processes and information flows. Documenting existing processes to evaluate and define new system solutions and implementation processes.

Business Process Analyst -Key Technical Skills required:

Qualifications:
• 5-10 years business experience required, especially in the fields of IT, Accounting and Finance
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) and/or Masters Degree desired
• Experience working with Oracle R12, including GL, AP, PO, FA, AR, AP, Cash Management
• Oracle R12 E-Business tax experience desirable
• Experience working in a multi-currency, global corporation desirable
• Must have experience working on ERP implementations.
• Hyperion Financial Management, Concur, Treasury Workstation, HP Service desk, MS Visio and Project experience helpful.
• 3 to 5 years leadership experience a plus
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and manage to project milestones and deliverables
• Detail-oriented and ability to work well under time constraints and with multiple projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong command of English needed, another language a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Possess the functional, technical and business acumen to interpret what the business expresses as needs and translate them into long term meaningful business solutions that support strategic objectives.
• Working knowledge of multiple applications / technologies (Oracle R12, Concur, Siebel MRM, TWS, HFM, Essbase, Settlement systems)

Description: We currently have a vacancy for an Oracle Financials Application Specialist based in at our Dublin office.
Reporting to the Group and Enterprise Operations Manager, the Applications Specialist Oracle will be working as part of the IT Team to support Group Applications is responsible for the Analysis, Development, Modification and Maintenance of Group Applications which includes but is not restricted to Oracle e-business suite systems. Strong analysis, trouble shooting, testing, design and technical document writing skills will be key to this role, as will be the ability to work with and manage relationships with the business users and third party vendors.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Support & Maintenance for the existing Group and Applications in place
• Designing solutions when issues arise with existing processes.
• Designing and overseeing the implementation of new/enhanced features available for the installed modules and products
• Liaison with external resource/service providers to determine best practice in the industry
• Monitoring and analysing Product and Technical developments
• Studying current practices and mapping business processes.
• Designing, writing and vetting functional specifications for configuration, enhancements, data conversion routines, interfaces and reports.
• Other duties may be assigned from time to time.
• Contributing to the preparation of systems development standards and guidelines
• Adherence to IT development procedures and standards
• In line with job rotation, will need to skill up in the management, support and maintenance of other applications implemented within group.

Qualifications and Experiences:
• Excellent functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Financials with a proven track record in some or all of these modules (AP,CM,FA,iProc,PO,INV,PA,OTL and GL)
• At least 5 previous implementations including configuration and data migration of one or more of the modules mentioned above
• Some working knowledge of at least one of the following applications: Oralce Hyperion, HR & Payroll system, Business Objects and Sharepoint
• 5 years plus “hands on” relevant experience in a customer facing role determining requirements for large scale business systems.
• Oracle University Certification for any of the modules mentioned above
• Suitable third level qualification in computer science or related field.
• Proven experience throughout the complete Project Lifecycle (assessment/feasibility, business case development, implementation planning and business case realization)
• Experience of programme/project delivery methodologies and standards
• Strong Financial skills
• Etensive IT Oracle Functional Specialist experience in an Oracle Financials environment.
• Solid track record the full life-cycle of replacing Legacy systems with Oracle modules.
• Enthusiastic self starter with a proactive approach to problem solving and systems development
• Knowledge of industry-standard methodologies, tools and environments.
• An understanding of general business practices, and good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deal comfortably with non-technical users.

Description: My Dublin based client currently required an experienced SENIOR ORACLE DBA for their existing team.

The successful candidate will possess 7 - 10 years Senior Oracle DBA experience (Oracle D/B 9i and 10g) and 3+ years experience of Oracle Application Server 9i and 10g on Unix platforms, preferably Solaris and Linux.

This is a Senior/Team Lead position and the client is looking for somoene with previous experience at this level. Knowledge of ITIL processes would be a distinct advantage.
