This project management role involves an emphasis on overseeing compliance management, audit programs and assessments within a fast-paced and innovative Software Engineering environment.
This position will focus specifically on the software development lifecycle and change management processes to demonstrate compliance to satisfy both internal and external requirements and that all necessary documentation and collateral is created and controlled.
The position will be required to review and enhance current process and develop new process to copper-fasten adherence and compliance.
Project Manager Responsibilities
• Review and assist in the development of change management process and procedures to support software engineering project lifecycle
• Review and assist in the development of project and process documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external/3rd party requirements.
• Clearly understand [various] external 3rd party audit requirements and develop Certification and Audit determination process and documentation
• Project management of information technology assessments and/or audits of information technology systems and processes, interpret results, and develop and communication recommendations to management.
Project Manager Experience
• Strong IT project management and methodology experience in a complex software engineering environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with business and technical partners at all levels within the organization

IT Project Manager required for a 6-9 month fixed term contract based in the City Centre.
Job Description:
The role is to cover maternity leave of existing IT Manager, managing a team of two.
Work in conjunction with Office 2010 Upgrade project managers in our international offices to put
together a coherent workable timeline for a successful upgrade to Office 2010 and all that it entails.
Prior experience in Citrix, Word 2003/10 and training an advantage.
You must be an established project manager with a proven track record of delivering IT related projects.
You must be expert in project planning, scheduling and budget control with a strong emphasis on customer service management and SLA.
This is a collaborative role, you will be required to interface and engage with both the business end user and IT.
The role of the project manager is to plan, execute and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver the project within the triple
constraints.
Skill Set:
The IT Project Manager must have the following skillset:
Minimum of 6 years' experience in IT
3-5 years’ experience as a hands-on IT PM
Professional Services history – ideally with a large law firm for a minimum of 3 years.
Prior experience working in an International environment an advantage.
Successful history of effectively managing multiple projects concurrently.
Skills to be a hands-on IT Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in understanding and assessing business issues, problems, and challenges
and assimilating that input into actionable, executable plans, e.g., defining next steps, developing
action plans or preliminary workplans, etc.
Understand the business requirements and articulate the requirements to IT and 3 parties.
Exhibit sound change management methodology and principles and delivery experience, including but not limited to change management planning, barriers to change analysis\mitigation planning, training needs analysis and training plan development, communications planning and execution, etc.
Ensure participation of all required resources, including key stakeholders, at all levels defined in the workplan
Contribute to a PMO knowledge base, training, and proliferation of project management methodologies, tools, templates, etc. for managers and teams outside of the PMO.
Monitor and track the utilisation of resources to ensure that there are sufficient resources in place to deliver projects

JOB DESCRIPTION – PROGRAMME MANAGER
Main Job Purpose
To take total accountability for planning, structuring, leading and executing the IT elements of a portfolio of projects of high risk and complexity to time, quality and budget.
To be responsible for managing the IT programme team consisting of project management, analysis, internal software development staff, external development partners, other representation from within the Group and business users.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the programme’s IT budget on behalf of the programme director, monitoring the expenditures and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses.
Plan the IT programme and monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
Management and analysis of issues.
Build, manage and motivate the IT Programme team.
Ensure the delivery of new products or services from the projects is to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the programme plan.
Be responsible for the quality assurance and overall integrity of the IT elements of the programme.
Manage third party contributions to the programme as appropriate.
Communicate with all stakeholders.
Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and contribute to portfolio management of all the programmes by assessing dependencies between programmes as well.
Manage the IT specific risks to the programme’s successful outcome.
Report progress of the IT elements of the programme at regular intervals to the programme director.
Skills / Attributes Required
Have a proven track record of up to 8 years experience in Project / Programme Management using leading methodologies and processes.
Proactive, high energy, and a natural leader of people and teams
Highly developed negotiation and presentation skills
Experience in producing business cases
Experience of managing multiple parties including Project Managers and third party vendors / outsource partners on high profile and technologically innovative enterprise solutions
The ability to manage teams across multiple locations
Prince 2 level training or equivalent.
Experience of MS Project.
Understand budgetary control and resource allocation procedures.
Ability to create a sense of community amongst the disparate members of the programme teams.
Ability to motivate and lead the team
