Description: Spanish and Portuguese Computer Support Specialist - Salary range 34-40k per annum.

Job Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be serving as the principal point of contact to the customer/user in the resolution of system failures related to the computer hardware and software components of our systems. You will be responsible for coordinating the resources and materials necessary to resolve the tickets that you have been assigned.
Roles and responsibilities
•Administer tickets according to current support procedures and protocols.
•Use a methodical approach in gathering facts and performing diagnostics.
•Identify computer related hardware and software problems using base line configuration
•Escalate to the appropriate authorities computer hardware and software related issues falling outside the role and responsibility of the Computer Support Specialist
•Ensure that the customer/user is always aware of the status and progression of their ticket.
•Validate and insure all of the processes have been followed before any ticket closures.
•Interact with Support Experts to validate and assist in the resolution of all tickets.
Qualifications and experience
•Must be multi-lingual – Spanish/Portuguese/English
•Candidates to possess a computer software degree or equivalent experience.
•One to two years experience as a Customer service agent.
•Qualification in Linux/Unix
•Good skills in operating systems troubleshooting.
•Familiar with networking protocols and associated hardware and infrastructure such as modems, routers, hubs, frame relay/ISDN
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Strong analytical and problems solving skills.
