Description: Product Manager

Permanent Role based in Dublin - Salary Circa 70-75k D.O.E.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying customer, competitive and market strategies and devising a go-to-market plan for the European Market for my client
The position works closely with Sales (based in Dublin and Reading, UK), Development, and Marketing to collaborate on all aspects of the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for partnering with Sales to drive results, including on site and phone based pre-sales support, product training during new product releases and competitive positioning. Liaising with the rest of the product team in the USA will be a part of the daily routine for this position as will occasional visits to the US office.

Responsibilities
• Sales enablement – Work directly with sales on opportunities to drive new unit sales volume, average revenue per unit and customer retention. Provide sales support through email, phone and onsite visits to Ireland, the UK and further afield, including pre and post sales teams in the UK/Ireland and Europe.
• Positioning – Develop product positioning and core messaging that differentiates our products in the marketplace, particularly Europe. Communicate the value proposition of the products to the European sales team. Partner with Marketing to develop the sales tools that support the selling process.
• Product launch / Go-to-Market – Plan and execute the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation and coordination of the plan.
• Product Strategy – Gather product requirements for new product development and prioritize development opportunities for European markets. Provide input into overall product roadmap and development priorities. Ensure that the priorities necessary to win in the European market are represented appropriately.
• Act as a product expert across the business for assigned products

Experience
• 7-10 years in software product management or product marketing related roles
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related field preferred. MBA a plus
• Highly effective presenter with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to interact with all levels of customers, sales channel, technical resources and management.
• Excellent written communication skills. Ability to craft new product positioning that is clear and compelling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced company and market with a constantly evolving set of requirements
