Overview:
My Cork based client is currently recruiting for a SAP FICO Business Analyst to join their team, this is a permanent role.

Job Description:
• Lead Finance and Controlling (FICO) incident resolution process in accordance with my client and their operating principles
• Act as a recognised SME for my client FICO processes and corresponding SAP functional solutions (Finance, Controlling, Asset Management, Project Systems, Travel Management, Business Planning and Controlling)
• Use SAP and business process knowledge to lead the design and development of SAP FICO functional solutions to business problems
Primary responsibilities are:
1) Lead FICO Sustain Activities
• Responsible for the FICO incident resolution process (representing Level 2 in the Sustain Model) in accordance with my client SLAs and their operating principles
• As part of the incident resolution process, the business analyst will need to work as part of a virtual team (including global COE, business super-users and off-shore delivery teams)
• Monitors established KPIs to measure and report on SLA/OLA performance, identifying and monitoring opportunities for improvement.
• As appropriate, identify key problem areas within SAP FICO solution (process and system) and after identification of root-cause, develop corresponding action plans to address
• Key functional contact for FICO regression testing, leading the development and validation of documented RT scenarios
• Under guidance of my client’s Sustain Lead, work with all relevant stakeholders to define and drive continuous improvements in Sustain processes and procedures
• Support my clients Sustain Lead as required in successfully managing collaborative relationship with the global FICO customer-base, including regular interaction with super-users/functional managers and frequent reporting on Sustain FICO performance.
2) Support FICO Solutions Activities
• Support FICO Solutions Lead as required in business process (re-)engineering discussions to help drive best-in-class SAP FICO solutions
• Under direction of FICO Solutions Lead, work with super-users to thoroughly detail and document requested enhancements, including business requirements definition and functional specifications
• Liaise with offshore development team as required to ensure requirements are well understood
• Support integration testing of new enhancements as required
• Support the delivery of enhancements as releases that are coordinated by the Change Manager, liaising as necessary with colleagues to ensure that interdependencies with major projects and other functional areas are identified

Skill Set:
• Deep technical and functional knowledge of the relevant SAP systems/ECC modules (SAP BPC, SAP FI, SAP CO, SAP AM, SAP PS, SAP TM and corresponding FICO processes) and broad knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g. SD, MM, WM) and systems (e.g. BI, XI)
• Minimum 4 years of SAP Support and/or deployment experience, preferably within a global, multi-national environment
• Experience working in a multi-national company and/or a multi-cultural environment is highly desirable
• Experience in working with off-shore delivery models and teams
• Solid understanding of relevant e2e FICO processes (e.g. Accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset management, etc)
• Tools (MS Office, Solman, HP OVSD, HP QC)
• Processes (PLM, ITIL)
• IT/Computer Science Academic qualification
• Good interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism in dealing with business managers and users.
• Organisational, planning and coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills in business and technical English (Spanish and/or Chinese advantageous)
• High levels of enthusiasm and energy and works well in a multi-cultural team environment.

Description: New opportunity just in for a SAP FICO Consultant. My Client based just South City Centre are looking for someone who will be responsible for the development and support of all key finance systems within the company.

Candidates will be considered on a fixed term basis but daily rate contractors will also be considered.

The following experience is required:

At least four year's SAP implementation and configuration experience - must have participated in at least two full implementations.

SAP FICO -Key Responsibilities:


SAP Support – Finance/Logistics



Support of all key Finance processes and system activities.

Support related SAP logistics (SD & MM) processes.

Support SAP processes.

System configuration changes & testing.

Ensure follow up and issue resolution within the agreed timeframe.

Liaise with Implico and SAP with escalated issues/change requests etc.

Complete regular System checks to monitor the SAP system to ensure it is working smoothly and efficiently.

Ensure all Finance users are adequately trained in how to use the various systems to the appropriate level.



Process Improvement/ Project Work

Work with Finance team (and other relevant teams) to identify problem areas with existing systems and processes; plan and manage a program of improvements to these processes within agreed timeframes.

Manage the implementation of change requests and larger projects.
