My Client is currently seeking a technical SAP support specialist and expert to join their growing technical team, based in their Galway office.
The role will involve developing and supporting the day to day technical and business SAP application requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background and proven track record of working with SAP in the Retail industry.

The role will require specific hands on technical skills and expertise in SAP ERP (v6.0) Modules:
SAP Financials
o Accounts Payable
o Accounts Receivable
o Accounting and Financial reporting

SAP Operations
o Procurement & Logistics

SAP for Retail
o Materials Management/MD
o Replenishment
o Pricing
o Point of Sale
o Sales and Distribution

SAP Integration experience
SAP BW/ BI, BASIS expertise would be an advantage.

Overall knowledge (business process, configuration, integration) of SAP for Retail, Financials, MM purchasing, replenishment, goods movement processes, including purchasing requisition and purchase order processing
SAP Retail experience, including reporting and merchandising
Forecasting and Replenishment Experience
SAP Integration expertise
SAP BW/ Netweaver, BI, BASIS, Business Objects Reporting expertise an advantage.
Strong technical and interpersonal skills with a sound ability to work with business and technical leads.
SAP Certification a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following Key Skills/Experience:
• Deep technical and functional knowledge of the relevant SAP ECC modules (SAP SD, SAP MM and OTC processes) and broad knowledge of integration points with other SAP module (e.g. MM, WM) and systems (e.g. BI, XI).
• Minimum 4 years of SAP Support and/or deployment experience, preferably within a global, multi-national environment.
• Experience working in a multi-national company and/or a multi-cultural environment is highly desirable.
• Experience in working with off-shore delivery models and teams.
• Solid understanding of relevant OTC e2e processes (e.g. Customer Services, Planning & Inventory Management, Global Customs & Trade, Procurement, Distribution, etc).
• Tools (MS Office, Solman, HP OVSD, HP QC).
• Processes (PLM, ITIL).
• IT/Computer Science Academic qualification.
• Good interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism in dealing with business managers and users.
• Organisational, planning and coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills in business and technical English (Spanish and/or Chinese advantageous)
• High levels of enthusiasm and energy and works well in a multi-cultural team environment.

Description: Excellent SAP Helpdesk role available in North Dublin

The successful candidate will be a member of the SAP and Application Development Team, to provide helpdesk service to the business as required.
The following experience is required:
· Degree in IT, Computer Science or similar level of experience and knowledge
