Description: My Dublin South based client currently requires a Software Development Manager to join their existing R&D team in a permanent position. The ideal candidate will come from a strong Product Development background and have experience of developing products within a regulated environment (ISO13485/IEC62304 standards)
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Leading Project Teams to deliver world-class products and solutions from concept phase, through requirements, development, Verification & Validation, and successful market launch
• Build and optimize team structure to provide optimum resource utilization in multidisciplinary environment including: product roadmap development, maintenance & support, quality assurance
• Customer and Partner interaction to define the scope of Projects from programme, technical and process perspectives
• Process tailoring and project execution according to regulated environment
• Effective communication with clients to identify needs and evaluation of alternative business solutions
• Creating and executing project work plans and reviewing as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Risk Management
• Motivating team to work together in the most efficient manner
The successful candidate will have at least:-
• 4-6 years practical experience in a similar position, demonstrating successful delivery of large enterprise systems
• University degree in electronic/computer engineering or information technology
• Requirements or System Architecture Experience
• Strong technical knowledge in the areas of Enterprise Systems
• Strong Process knowledge across the development lifecycle: System Requirements, Architecture, Software Development, Software Lifecycle Management within the project
• Supervisory/management experience and the flexibility to deal with people of different cultural backgrounds at a variety of levels, internally as well as externally
• Very strong conceptual, analytical and judgment abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to work in both international and multifunctional teams
• The individual should demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgment, have strong commercial orientation and the ability to achieve results through others
Experience in the following areas is a distinct advantage:
• Software Development product domain awareness
• Managing Software Development in a regulated environment
•Service design
•High availability systems maintenance and support
• Agile methodologies

We are seeking individuals with significant consulting experience or individuals who have gained project and technology delivery experience within large recognised organisations. We are looking for Managers who can demonstrate large scale technology enabled business transformation experience to work across multiple sectors and specifically those with a strong background in programme and project management, including PMO.

As a Manager:
• You will participate in and, as required, lead IT Advisory engagements
• Manage financial aspects of client engagements and communicate significant issues, fees, and estimates to complete to partners and clients
• Assist partners and directors with generating new business opportunities and building client networks and relationships
• You will build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers and develop a portfolio of business by focusing on high impact opportunities.
• You will lead presentations and proposals for medium complex projects or elements of highly complex projects, and provide subject matter insight to bids and proposals.
• Drawing on your skills and experience, you'll create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership.
• You'll create clear, concise, high-quality work products and act as a subject matter resource on one or more services, leveraging knowledge and experience to shape services to client problems.
• Of a respected professional you'll communicate effectively with the engagement partners and managers and work to build, manage and motivate high-performing teams, and help key staff to build sustainable competencies.
• Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff
• Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff
• Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training ITA professionals

• Enterprise Intelligence/Analytics;PMO and IT governance
• IT Sourcing
• IT process effectiveness and value
• Understand all our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients
• Build strong internal relationships with in Advisory and across other services.
• Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills
• Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

Desired Experience
• Strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in a business or IT related area
• At this Manager level, there will be opportunities to work across our focus sectors within the PI practice (Health, Utilities, Transport, Government) so experience in these sectors would also be an advantage
• At least 5 years with a blue chip consulting firm or blue-chip industry/government organisation
• Proven experience in business development such as client relationship management and proposal support
• A strong background in large scale systems implementation, preferably ERP , r CRM or Enterprise Intelligence/Analytics systems, from planning to management of analysis, design, testing, data migration, cut-over and post implementation processes. Senior stakeholder management and communication and engagement experience is also beneficial.

Currently we are recruiting business consultants primarily from Senior Consultant through to Senior Manager levels for the IT Advisory team.

We are seeking individuals with significant experience or individuals who have gained project and technology delivery experience within large recognised organisations. We are looking for Senior Consultants with a proven track record in delivery of complex IT related projects and programmes.

Job Specification
At Senior Consultant level, there will be opportunities to work across our focus sectors within the PI practice (Health, Utilities, Transport, Government) so experience in these sectors would also be an advantage. Strong experience with a blue chip consulting firm or blue-chip industry/government organisation.

• As a respected professional you'll communicate effectively with the engagement partners and managers and work to build, manage and motivate high-performing teams, and help key staff to build sustainable competencies; and

You will also have additional responsibilities as part of our people agenda:
• You will be responsible for your own self development;
• You will contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff;
• You will contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training IT Advisory professionals;

The Senior Consultant specific role will vary depending on the project and the sector. In line with the above specification, typical activities would include the following:
• To support delivery of the IT element of large business transformation programmes;
• To support delivery of IT Transformation Programme e.g. IT Sourcing, Strategy etc;
• Solve business and technology issues through collaboration and teaming;
• Use business analysis techniques to support problem solving;
• Understand all our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients; and build strong internal relationships with in Advisory and across other services.

Education
Strong academic record including a third level degree in a business or IT related area
