The successful candidate will support the production and distribution of Operational and MI reports to key stakeholders. Using the Business Intelligence tools, the role requires a strong focus on providing timely and accurate reporting to a demanding customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Design & Develop new data and reporting processes to run in an automated manner. Migrate existing processes to new technology platform.
• Produce a timely, accurate and comprehensive MI reporting suite, and supplementary analysis to provide insights on key metrics and respond to subsequent actions for further investigation.
• Respond to regular and ad hoc requests for analytics and analysis from stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Resolve business issues using data analysis and present back meaningful and actionable information to relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to new BI projects as they arise.

Requirements:

• Very strong Business/Systems Analyst skills with experience in relational databases, with an advanced proficiency SQL.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, MS Access & MS Excel.
• At least 5 years MI experience working with large datasets from multiple sources to deliver BI
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent report presentation skills.
• Ability to deliver and achieve results within demanding timescales.

Desirable:
• The ability to translate business issues into the appropriate analysis and then communicate the results of that analysis back to the business.
• Developed presentation skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues from different disciplines across the business and credit management functions.
• Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide experience would be advantageous.
• Credit, finance or risk reporting experience.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Work with business and technical delivery teams to analyse large scale data sets
• Gather and document end-user requirements for analytical and ad-hoc reporting solutions (Agile Methodology)
• Create structured and ad-hoc reports using the company’s business intelligence tools
• Define and manage master data management policy
• Work with client business users to implement data governance structures

• Knowledge of data, master data and metadata related standards, processes and technologies
• Experience in identifying and defining requirements and turning into functional requirements that addresses difficult analytical challenges
• Experience in solving data analytics problems and effectively communicating results and methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to present results to management teams to allow them interrupt the results and make effective decisions
• Hold a relevant primary degree (2.1 or higher) in mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics or finance, and be working toward or hold a recent Masters in a related discipline

My client is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the IT Windows Development Team in the capacity of Team Lead.


Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all coding is done in accordance with established IT Development standards, and is recorded within the central code-store solution - Microsoft Team Foundation Services (TFS)
• Lead-point – and point of escalation - for interactions with Change Management, Incident Management and Problem Management.
• Provide cross-training and / or ensure cross-training takes place across and throughout the Windows IT Development team, and the wider IT team as necessary.
• Assist the Senior IT Management team with all aspects of Project Management. i.e. Resource availability, Solution Design, Test Management etc.
• Work alongside and very closely with the existing Windows Technical Design Architect (TDA), the Infrastructure Team Lead, the Service Desk Team Lead and the Service Level Owner.
• Accountable for ensuring that all Incidents, Problems and Service Requests assigned to the Windows IT Development Team are turned around in accordance with the established SLA’s in place.


Requirements for Role

• A relevant third level IT qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years working as an Analyst / Developer within a Windows development team.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft TFS, SQL Server & Microsoft Analysis Services are essential
• In-depth technical knowledge and experience of as many of the following as possible:- .NET, C#, VB.NET, Java, ASP, Powershell, MS Visual Studio, MS Azure, MS Biztalk,
• Specific Microsoft BI skills and experience based on MS SQL server Analysis Services 2012 (or 2014) covering as many of the following area’s as possible:- SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, MDX, MS Power Pivot, MS Performance Point, MS Sharepoint Server.
• Proven team lead experience would be an advantage.
• Strong delegation skills and ability to work effectively in a fast paced, complex and dynamic environment.

Role
This is the ideal role for an IT support professional with experience of using SQL Server seeking a new challenge. The ideal candidate will have had experience in both a technical and business environment.
Job Description
The position is primarily focused in the day-to-day administrative and operational tasks of managing and supporting a large, transaction-intensive database environment.
You will be responsible for monitoring of SQL Agent Jobs and be able to troubleshoot / resolve problems before they are reported by clients.
Experience of SSRS and SSIS technology is essential in order to provide support to core applications
Responsibilities for the Sql Server Support Engineer include:
Documentation of issues based on priorities and follow up with actions for long term solution
Ensuring data availability and quality for dashboard reporting
Having the ability to write and amend reports where required
Update and create subscriptions where required
Update and create SSIS packages where required.
Proactively identify potential issues and risks and work with relevant parties to resolve them, or escalate them to the IT management team.
The candidate will work collaboratively with clients & other departments including finance, marketing, operations and other members of the support team to provide resolutions to reported problems.
Skills Required for the Sql Server Support Engineer :
2-4 years minimum SQL Server experience.
Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills.
Experience of incident and documentation management.
Sound debugging and problem solving skills
Technical skills/knowledge with experience on SQL Server (2005, 2008, 2012) , Reporting Services, SSIS Packages, SQL Agent Jobs, Stored Procedures etc.
Good understanding of database architecture required.
Ability to interact with all business levels (horizontal and vertical).
Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, to organize and prioritize work schedules.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
