Description: My Dublin based client currently requires an experienced Unix Administrator with Red Hat Linux, Apache and Sybase/Oracle experience to join their team in a permanent role.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
* Unix/database admin for clients engineering system on RedHat and Sybase.
* Supplier contact, report writing and second level support for same.
* Admin responsible for the companys linux servers.
* Secondary admin for operations system on RedHat, HP-UX, Xen and Oracle
* Documentation and procedures for the above systems.

Experience Required:
* Red Hat Linux w/Apache. HP-UX an added advantage
* Sybase and or Oracle
* Must know Sql and Shell scripting
* Programming experience in perl, javascript, html, xml or other an added advantage.

Hands on in depth experience in linux and sql is a must. Candidates must also be capable of working independently and taking a problem and solving it.
DBA level training in Oracle will be provided, if required.
Normal working hours 8:30 to 17:30 w/ 1 hour for lunch with
some out of hours work and on call work for emergencies.
