Overview:
My Dublin South County / Wicklow based client is currently recruiting for a Relationship Manager. This role will suit anyone living in Wicklow or Dublin South County.


Job Description:
Relationship Management
• You will provide strong business management attributes and develop and promote relationships with both client and project teams.
• You will serve as liaison between the different business units.
• You will develop and manage client relationships at all levels to meet client expectations and satisfaction requirements.
• You will act as a Change Agent and communicate changes which impact client or business, including changes in staff, technology, policy, procedures, or practices.
• You will assist business lines to build quantitative and qualitative business cases for each project and ensure correct scoping of project efforts.

Skill Set:
• Management - 5 years Experience with management approaches, tools, and techniques for gaining the cooperation and support of others.
• Customer Support - 3 years Experience with tools and techniques for maintaining an environment where all understand, and are committed to, providing excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Contract Management - 2 years Experience with design, development and utilization of formal IT vendor contracts with internal or external customers.
• Good problem solving ability and creative thinking.
• Excellent Communication, Analytical and Presentation skills (both Oral and Written)
• Strong MS Office skills are essential.
• An interest in and/or knowledge of Pro-metric tools and technology an advantage
• Proven ability to co-ordinate projects or tasks, strong prioritisation and multi-tasking skills
Required Personal Attributes/Characteristics:
• Ability to work with all levels of the business, including Senior Management.
• Excellent client relationship/ customer service skills, with a clear client focus
• A Self-Starter with plenty of initiative
• High level of Attention to detail
• Readiness to travel to support meetings on occasion

Service Delivery Manager Job Description:
•To manage the delivery of services to clients against an established Service Level Agreement and Service Operating Schedules.
•To manage the implementation of projects against agreed contracts specifications.
•Develop and maintain all project related documentation, including (but not limited to) project plans, PID’s, risk and issue registers.
•Management of ad hoc projects

•Pre Sales Support
•Complete administration of all activities and other ad hoc work as required.


Key Skillset required:
•PRINCE 2

Experience

•Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

•Working knowledge of a financial/procurement system

Overview
The role will involve managing Dublin’s IT Application Support team of 10 application development staff to resolve fix on fail of Incidents/Problems plus management & delivery to target of small development tasks.
The successful candidate will be a single point of contact with direct responsibility to deliver IT Application Support services to resolve production system issues across multi client accounts in line with Service Level Agreements & initiatives
The following are the specific duties of the role:
Manage day to day running of the IT Application Support Team
Ensure calls are completed in a timely manner with minimum disruption to the operational areas (speedy resolution of calls)
Put in place call assessment (triage) to ensure accurate & relevant task allocation whilst reducing team workload to essential activity
Perform Performance Management Reviews including objective, training & development planning
Career manage the team to minimise attrition rate
Produce Weekly, Monthly and Annual Service Delivery metrics
Foster a positive working environment for IT Application Support Team
Produce local MI inc PIA Tariff related calls; Weekly Service Delivery Report; Monthly invoice
Represent BAU at Initial design Reviews liaising with Service Manager where production systems are at risk, there is change of IT services provided , or cost impact
•Ownership of Issue and Incident management
•Ensure timely escalation of issues to senior management
•Occasional travel to other sites
Key Experience and Knowledge required:
IT professional qualification to degree or diploma level, (or relevant experience)
6 - 7 years experience in software development environment
•Proven experience of service delivery within an Application Support environment
•2+ years of Management or Team Leadership experience

The following are the key skills and background candidates should have:
• Knowledge of the full development lifecycle
• A working knowledge of various software development methodologies. Any experience of DSDM would be advantageous through not essential.
• Comfortable conversing freely at a technical level with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, Developers and Testers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ideally from a technical background with working experience at various levels within the development lifecycle
• Comfortable liaising at all levels of the business, including external clients
• Comfortable in pre-sales environments
• Proven experience of running large concurrent development projects with financial responsibility
• Experience working within a regulated environment (i.e. ISO / CMMI / ITIL)
The successful candidate will have the following areas of responsibility:
• To manage development projects providing an interface between the client / PM and the lead developers

• Financial governance of projects and support

• To implement and control the software development processes on all projects and support

• To Mentor and guide teams under direct management

• Assist technical architects in steering the teams technology choices, bridging the commercial and the technical decisions

• Ability to articulate technical information to both non-technical staff and highly technical staff, thus providing a conduit for information exchange.

• To have a strong technical understanding of the solution under construction and how it interacts with other connected systems

• Coordinate with all other IT Service Lines of Service to ensure that all dependencies affecting application delivery and support are met

• Input into the strategic training requirements for the team

• To assist pre-sales activity through expert knowledge contribution to bids, client meetings and consultation within existing clients.

• To provide input and suggestions for the improvement of development and support process and procedures.

• To have a strong focus on quality
