Permanent Role – Based in Dublin City Centre

• SharePoint developer role
• Working directly with the Business to design technical solutions to business requirements
• Developing, unit testing and documenting software applications to established standards using corporate framework
• Providing technical support to QA during systems testing, user acceptance testing and software release
• Providing post-implementation support to users on the software developed.
• Working directly with users to address minor changes and bug fixes.
• Understand the systems and business processes which are pertinent to the business area to which the developer is assigned.

Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Development Environment
• Strong background in Microsoft SQL Server including design, integration (SSIS) and development and administration.
• A full understanding of the .NET framework including - design patterns, Windows Presentation Foundation, ASP.NET, AJAX, Silverlight and third party products, Windows Workflow Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation, Language Integrated Query and IIS.
• In-depth experience of Messaging solutions, SOA, C# and VB.Net
• In-depth knowledge of the SharePoint object model
• In-depth knowledge of HTML/Java script XSL , XML
• In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Designer
• In-depth knowledge of Powershell and the central Admin tool and StsAdm.
• Development methodologies including Agile


Experience and Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified Professional preferable
• At least 4 years Development experience in the developer role
• SharePoint experience including SharePoint 2003, MOSS and SharePoint 2010 preferable
• Sql Server experience preferable

Description: Senior Sharepoint Developer Permanent

This role will involve participation in the full project life cycle. You will be involved in the analysis, design, development, testing and documentation of software projects.

Responsibilities:
•Primary responsibility for the design, development and deployment of software solutions and components based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) 3.0 technologies.
•Development of Custom SharePoint WebParts.
•Developing applications from detailed design specifications

•Develop automated unit tests and build systems.

•Bug Fixing

•Interacting with customers

•Monitoring and Assisting Delivery of Development Tasks




Experience:


•5 years development experience with at least 1 year as a Senior Developer

•At least 3 years .NET 2.0/3.0 experience of the following: - C#, ASP.NET

•Minimum 2 years hands on experience of MOSS 2007 implementations including; configuration, deployment and development of custom WebParts.

•Experience with designing and implementation of document management and collaboration solutions based on MOSS or WSS

•Experience of using SharePoint Designer

•Experience of implementing SharePoint InfoPath solutions a distinct advantage

My Client has an open role for a business analyst with responsibility for
the delivery of timely and accurate management information to a large and varied audience across the Group.
Using the latest Business Intelligence and database technologies The successful candidate will assist in the development, maintenance and distribution of broad range of reports to a large and diverse audience across the Group.
The role will involve a mix of report development, IT systems management and customer support activities. Although the role is primarily technical, it would be expected that over time the successful candidate would attain a high degree of business/system expertise, where the ability to analyse and interpret data will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Development and maintenance of reports using the Business Objects, Microsoft, Brio & Cognos reporting suites
