I have a great client in Dublin City centre that is looking for a mid level tester to join thier growing team of testers
The QA role is in the Test Services Team working across our current clients ensuring products and projects are tested to the standards and processes in place within the team.
The QA analyst will be expected to work accurately in a structured test environment, working closely with the wider change teams, Business Analysis and Development.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Production of test deliverables and scripts in accordance with the testing life cycle
Verifying the quality of the Business Requirements, including requirement definition, completeness and testability
Execution of test scripts within agreed timescales and standards
Accurate recording of test activities and tracking of defects
Analysis of expected versus actual results arising from test execution
Efficient defect logging, assessment, prioritization and management
Enhance the effectiveness of the testing total lifecycle process through identification of process improvements
Test all aspects of client applications including new and existing business processes (switches, part surrenders, full surrenders, regular withdrawals, death claims), commission, chargeable events, MI reports, documentation and web elements
Ability to identify defects
Achievement of personal objectives
Relationships built with internal teams
Clear evidence of performance against role profile competencies
Preparation and execution of test cases
Accurate work within deadlines
Review of requirements specifications
Contribution to process improvements
Identification, investigation and resolution of issues

Description: An excellent Technology client based in Dublin city centre is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join the current team and be involved with hands on in functional testing.
The successful candidate will be involved in all of the customer facing UIs and back end systems with the responsibility of leading and progressing the QA function within those assigned projects.
My client are looking for a candidate who must have;
A proven track record in all facets of testing within a technically challenging development environment
Must be a self-starter with the ability to learn and understand complex systems quickly
Will need to be a good team player and have the ability to work autonomously with a minimum of supervision
Must have experience in industry standard testing, tracing and debugging tools
Roles and Responsibilities:
Hands on functional testing of core product function against requirements throughout the entire project life cycle
Delivery of test schedules, test estimates, test cases and test data for assigned projects
Responsibility for test execution and reporting to QA and Project Managers
Bug management, incorporating triage meetings, status reporting, bug categorisation/prioritisation and issue escalation
Assist in reporting, investigating and debugging software issues in coordination with support and development
Provide support for production environment release validation and production bug troubleshooting
Integration of product knowledge from testers, developers and product managers into the testing process
Continuously contribute to improvement of the Companys quality processes and procedures
Degree qualified with a minimum of 4/5 years experience in quality assurance, ideally in a financial / high numeracy sector
Candidate must have
o Minimum 2 years experience in managing complex test projects from initialisation through to release
o Minimum of 4 years hands on experience across on online and mobile based testing roll using industry standard traffic debugging and tracing tools.
Must have experience of software development lifecycles and sound knowledge of QA principles and methodologies
Demonstrated experience in isolating and reproducing issues at a component level with clear documentation to support findings
Experience in bug management, including triage meetings, bug categorisation and prioritisation, issue escalation and status reporting
Prior experience in using issue tracking tools (Mantis, Jira etc)
Experience of UAT testing in conjunction with third party test and project teams
The candidate must have strong numeracy and analytical skills for effective problem solving
Confidence in holding test documentation reviews with project teams and obtaining sign off
Ability to understand business system at architectural\component level and liaise with development teams
Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgement
Being able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is a key requirement

Execute automated and manual integration, system and performance tests according to the test specifications. Analyse and report on results obtained
Configure test beds in support of new functionality and help improve existing test environments
Liaise with the test team lead to ensure testing is addressed in testing environment
Interact with Engineering and Support teams to create and maintain a quality product
Guide junior team members
Minimum of 3 years test experience
Good understanding of Networks, Telecom Protocols, Linux
Cisco CCNA or other equivalent IP/Ethernet certification is desirable
Ability to configure network and Linux based servers, i.e. routers or VoIP servers
Experience running automation test
Database experience using Sql and NoSQL
Experience in manual and automation testing of JAVA/Rest APIs and HTML Web applications (Selenium), is a distinct advantage
