Description: UAT Test Analyst required for Top Financial Services Company based in Dublin 2.

The UAT test Analyst will:
• Write UAT test scripts to test solutions delivered
• Will support users in UAT execution
• Will co-ordinate UAT defects and the delivery of fixes
• Work with UAT Manager to ensure project controls and standards are followed

Responsibilities include:
Manage UAT Process:
• Prepare UAT scripts based on business requirements.
• Provide support and floor walking for UAT execution
• Track UAT progress and defects
• Manage the delivery of UAT defect fixes
• Support the UAT Analyst in the writing of test completion reports.
• Delivery Tracking:
• Key milestone tracking across UAT phases

Expertise Required:
• Expert knowledge of UAT execution
• Strong track record of performance in an office environment
• Self starter with strong time management, good organisational skills with an ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
• Good organisation skills

The successful candidate will have a strong and consistent track record in some or all of the following;
• Analytical ability to interpret relevant data
• Broad knowledge of the Banking / Financial Services industry
• Strong problem solving capabilities
• A high level of confidence is required in professional competence.
• Excellent communications skills
• Excellent command of MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to prove office skills

Description: My Dublin based client currently requires a Junior Solutions Analyst to work with business, technology and operational partners to understand requirements and translate these into functional solutions

The successful candidate will ensuring that the requirements are fully understood and documented, the data and technical design are fit for purpose and issues are analysed and addressed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Production of functional requirements documents, data mapping documents, maintaining end-to-end requirements traceability, and reviewing the test plan and cases as required.
• Gather business requirements - working with stakeholders to analyse the information and ensure requirements are fully understood
• Analyse existing data flows across a number of branches and processes in GIW
• Create clear and transparent documentation on existing data flows and determine gaps in solution that may impact requirements, also capturing any branch specific or customised logic
• Ensure data standards are adhered to and that overall solutions proposed meet requirements and where possible are generic.
• Co-ordinate and review impact analysis to ensure all risks are mitigated.
• Support testing cycles (QC and UAT), this includes providing the teams with project documentation, reviewing and approval of all QC documentation, defect remediation and support of UAT and business partner test cycles.
• Support and ensure handover of new/modified processes to the Operational teams.
• Answer ad-hoc queries on existing GIW processes.
• Ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner and all issues and risks are communicated to the program as appropriate.
• Ensure IMASS design and control standards are adhered to and managing any open design issues to resolution.

Essential:
• Extensive years in a technology and/or business roles
• Knowledge/previous experience of PL/SQL and Relational Databases (preferably Oracle or MS SQL Server)
• Knowledge/previous experience Visio/Process Mapping and Data Mapping.
• Familiarity with waterfall SDLC
• Ability to prioritise own work, manage a team and multi-task.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Outstanding interpersonal effectiveness; strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Commitment to a cooperative team approach – a team player

Skills:

• Creative, analytical and investigative skills
• Specification writing (technical and business)
• Strong data skills; understanding of data modelling, data management and governance disciplines
• Ability to create and maintain good relationships at all levels within the organisation
