Description: Release Manager for Top Company based in Dublin

Responsibilities will include:
• Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across the company’s applications and related systems
• Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
• Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations
• Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates
• Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
• Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
• Conduct Release artefact Build, Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
• Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
• Weekly Release Reporting
• Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
• Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
• Work with development team to understand and optimize code branches and merge activities
• Manage CI Lab working with DEV and QA teams to ensure stability across all applications
• Work with Test Automation team to ensure CI process as automated as possible
• Maintains the release schedule for all core services liaising with Project Management team and key stake holders
• Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.
• Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
• Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks
• Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
• Researches new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyses their application to current configuration management needs

Requirements:
• Extensive experience in Continuous Integration
• Jenkins/Hudson/Bamboo experience
• Experience with Nexus
• Experience using version control systems; experience with Git preferred
• Experience with branching and merge strategies

The Opportunity
We have an immediate need for a User Experience Designer to design stunning, compelling user experiences for our growing suite of products.

Working as part of the Product Design team, the role requires a person that is passionate about user interface design. The ideal candidate has a unique combination of skills including user experience, graphic and interaction design.

Essential Responsibilities
• Design graphical style, look and feel for products.
• Develop wireframes and prototypes of the user interfaces.
• Work with Business Analysts and Product Managers to understand requirements.
• Participate in user research and usability tests.
• Prepare UI assets for product development teams.
• Work with development to maintain design consistency and excellent interaction design throughout implementation.
• Define and manage style guides for use by the Development team in developing screens throughout online products and mobile apps.
• Co-operate with a design team spanning multiple time-zones to ensure consistency across the product set.

The Candidate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Interaction, or Graphics preferred
• Minimum 3 years employment experience with multiple user interface design projects for web and mobile
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with Sketch in an Advantage
• Experience with Axure prototyping is an advantage
• Strong mobile app experience
• Knowledge of iOS and Android standards
• Illustrator skills an advantage
• Understanding of user interface design principles
• Portfolio of previous project work demonstrating both interaction, and visual interface design skills
• Experience with formal UX practices such as user testing is beneficial
• Proficiency with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AJAX preferred but not required

Qualifications
Skills and requirements:
• The ideal candidate will have a third level degree and at least 3 years Business Analyst experience.
• Experience work in an Agile environment developing high quality user stories & acceptance criteria for multiple business processes having multiple product owners.
• Proven experience in defining and documenting business requirements.
• Working experience with software developers and project managers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative in a dynamic business environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Documenting and maintaining project requirements/content in Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other equivalent IT tools.

- Responsible for change request management throughout the lifecycle of developments, projects and operational changes.
- Provide innovative ideas and solutions in an ever-changing environment.
