Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Performance test software applications in repeatable test scenarios in areas
Write detailed acceptance criteria for performance testing.
Develop detailed work plans for engagements, status tracking and reporting, and production of high quality deliverables for clients.
Aid in defining processes to be implemented to resolve and avoid future performance problems.
Support business users during business process testing.
Execute Test criteria.
Facilitate the development, implementation and adherence to good industry practices / testing standards.
Understand and anticipate client requirements, and develop client relationships.
Evaluate, maintain and improve testing roles and responsibilities within the product development life-cycle.
Review functional design specifications.
Skills & Experience Required
2-3 years of performance/automation test experience with a proven track record in delivering performance test results
Familiarity with industry standards and certification (e.g. ISO9000, CMMI, etc). Relevant IT and/or software testing qualifications (ISEB/ISTQB etc)
In depth software quality assurance experience
Demonstrated application of testing good industry practices
Knowledge and experience of tools for management of and execution of testing (in particular HP Loadrunner, Selenium, TestPlant Eggplant)
The ability to work to agreed deadlines, and experience of managing and motivating people to complete tasks

The role of the Business Analyst ( Digital )is to:
Support the Business and Change Management Team in defining business requirements, for changes to existing systems, and the design of new applications for Mobile, Tablet and Web.
Analyse and document these requirements for the Business, The Development team, the Testing team, and other stakeholders within IT and the Bank.
Support projects from inception through the various stages of the development lifecycle into Production and Implementation.
Record and report on projects on a regular basis, and monitor progress of projects through the development lifecycle.
The Business Analyst may be required to work on a number of projects at the same time, depending on project size and complexity.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for delivering changes / projects in an agreed timeframe, and according to the existing Processes and Procedures.
The role and associated responsibilities may change at a future date, in response to IT demands or constraints.
Design solutions that best support the Digital requirements.
Act as a functional expert / liaison between the Digital Business team and stakeholders and Digital Development team.
Adhere to IT Project Methodology & Standards
Project Manage developments from requirements to implementation
Co-ordinate various group project activities.
Develop, monitor, and report on the progress of projects.
Identify project assumptions, constraints and risks and record, track, and resolve project issues.
Assist in the production of business cases.
Work with a team to ensure quality assurance.
Assist in the implementation of a testing strategy.
Technical Competences for your role:
Analysis experience of Web/Mobile/Tablet Applications and Client Server Systems
Understanding of Web Services
IT development processes, procedures and standards.
Software Development lifecycle in particular how it relates to Mainframe and Client Server systems
Good PC skills with a knowledge of MS Office products
3+ years experience
Working on Web/Mobile/Tablet within the digital industry, with knowledge of industry best practices.
Analysis or Development experience of Web/Mobile Applications and Client Server Systems.
Experience in Analysis of systems using ASP.NET / SQL2008 / Web Services.
An understanding of security compliance (ISO).
Working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Working as part of a digital project preferably focusing on Web/Mobile Tablet front ends.

The ability to test systems thoroughly, reporting and managing these issues through to resolution.

If you have any exposure to E-commerce/ Website/ Mobile development projects, this would be advantageous
Strong understanding of how software systems & data solutions relates to business applications
Significant experience of business analysis within financial services is a must
Strong technical acumen, aptitude, preferably gained in a technical/ engineering capacity
Experience of developing high quality user stories & acceptance criteria for multiple business processes having multiple product owners
Broad application/technology knowledge (i.e. SQL, business process and systems workflow documentation)
