Description: My Dublin City Centre based client is currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their expanding team in a permanent role.

Post Summary
The company is seeking to appoint a Business Analyst to support Programme Management Office (PMO) activities.

The PMO is responsible for managing the digital transformation and business change programme for the company. The Office actively supports and enables the implementation of the client’s strategic change programme which includes complex technical, business systems and change projects and programmes.

The Business analyst will work to:
• Assume responsibility for requirements definition, identifying new project opportunities and make relevant changes to strategies, structures, policies, processes and technology Ensure projects are delivered efficiently
• Change is embedded throughout the organisation
• Benefits are realised
• Coordinate with departments and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
• Conduct assessments on the success of change post-implementation
• Continually enhance and support end user experience


Standard Duties of the Post
Duties include:
• Contribute to the planning of the BA deliverables and input into overall project plans and projects managed via the Project Management Office (PMO)
• Meet with business experts to understand current systems, processes and the ongoing / future requirements.
• Lead workshops with business subject matter experts to produce As-Is and To-Be Process models to drive the requirements phase.
• Challenge current business practice and support the development of updated policies and procedures to reflect business practice change.
• Gather, analyse and distil data to produce clear and concise Detailed Requirements Specifications and ensure buy in and sign-off is received from key stakeholders.
• Ensure requirements are delivered as per specification.
• Support the delivery of technology through UAT, training and cross department business practice change
• Lead and embed the transition of the project into operational areas.
• Conduct post implementation reviews with the business assessing business practice change, policies and procedures, reporting, training and implement measures to address any shortfalls.
• Conduct regular assessments of business systems to assess best fit for purpose, usability and optimisation opportunities for the business and report results to senior management
• Provide regular progress reports to the senior management team.
• Identify opportunities for change across the business and feed them back into the PMO
• Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time as business needs require


Person Specification
• Educated to degree level standard or equivalent
• 5-7 years proven capability and experience in a comparable Business Analyst role.
• Proven track record in project management, problem solving and achieving deadlines.
• Ability to work in complex business environments.
• Experienced in engaging both stakeholder and customers.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communications skills.
• Excellent ICT skills with the capacity to maximise technology to increase efficiencies in processes and procedures.
• Proven track record of project inception to close.

Description: The company is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of IT department projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and within agreed funding parameters.
Specifically the duties of the post will include:
• Participating in IT portfolio management activities, collaborating with both IT and business unit leaders.
• Reviewing project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding requirements, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available departmental resources to various phases of projects.
• Managing internal and external systems/application development projects within assigned areas from inception to successful implementation.
• Establishing work plans for each phase of project, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
• Identifying and scheduling project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
• Defining project objectives, scope, and level of effort.
• Developing project strategies and plans, and identifying the methods and tools required for the project.
• Assigning duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel.

Responsibilities of this post are as follows:

• Collaborating closely with senior IT Department colleagues on enterprise-wide projects.

• Performing customer surveys ensuring customer satisfaction remains high.
• Establishing standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
• Working with project personnel to provide guidance and to resolve problems.
• Leading the effort in creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables supporting business needs.
• Adhering to best project management practices and methodologies.
• Working at their other locations as required to meet the needs of specific projects. This may entail some infrequent international travel to their other locations.



Person Specification Essential
• Bachelor’s degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
• At least 7 years IT experience, including managing IT projects.
• Strong client facing skillset.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Strong change management skills and ability to influence decision makers.
• Ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong project management skills which includes experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.

Person Specification Desirable

• Experience of managing 3rd party software suppliers as part of project delivery.
• Experience in a Consultancy environment or similar would be advantageous.
• Ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives.
• Project Management Certification is strongly preferred.

• Gather, evaluate and document requirements from multiple sources and manage them throughout project life cycles.
• Support testing activities, including definition of testing scope, acceptance criteria and test scripts as well as defect management.

Main Responsibilities:
• Perform Business Analysis activities (i.e. requirement gathering, create specifications, workshop facilitation, interviews, business process design, reports design and business process modelling)
• Work with the business & IT teams to produce quality Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) and Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) in a standardised format.
• Conduct required meetings and workshops, provide presentation material and stakeholder updates to the required forums.
• Document data flows to ensure that deliverables are consistent with business requirements.
• Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvements and provide reports and updates on findings.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people to formulate requirements and contribute to design discussions.

• A good understanding and knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Have demonstrated flexibility and motivational skills.
• Demonstrated experience in the analysis of complex business systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven experience in influencing and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Detail oriented with good organisational skills.

Desirable

An Oracle Discrete Manufacturing/ Inventory Functional Lead will independently analyse requirements and lead for the Oracle Manufacturing modules (e.g. WIP, BOM, INV, Planning, Costing, Quality, Barcoding/ MSCA, Inventory)
Operations:
Independently conduct Pilots and be responsible for FIT gap analysis. Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents. Drive all meetings within there function for the company and manage the analysis through design phases related to their respective modules. Provide Management Reporting for progress and status for all Business related Work Products / Deliverables.
