Description: My Dublin based client is currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their expanding team in a permanent role.
The role holder will contribute to the overall success of the company by working on their own initiative or as part of a team, to support the Group systems & applications. The role holder will support the Project Managers in the delivery of key IS projects. The main activities that a Business Analyst will carry out are as follows:
• Gather, evaluate and document requirements from multiple sources and manage them throughout project life cycles.
• Support testing activities, including definition of testing scope, acceptance criteria and test scripts as well as defect management.

Main Responsibilities:
• Perform Business Analysis activities (i.e. requirement gathering, create specifications, workshop facilitation, interviews, business process design, reports design and business process modelling)
• Work with the business & IT teams to produce quality Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) and Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) in a standardised format.
• Conduct required meetings and workshops, provide presentation material and stakeholder updates to the required forums.
• Document data flows to ensure that deliverables are consistent with business requirements.
• Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvements and provide reports and updates on findings.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people to formulate requirements and contribute to design discussions.
• Testing the developed systems against requirements to ensure that the delivered system is fit for purpose.
• Support UAT during all phases of testing to ensure requirements as detailed in the Specification document have been delivered and are ready for release.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• A formal qualification in a Business/IT discipline or a third level qualification with a high Business/IT emphasis.
• Strong practical experience in Business Analysis activities (i.e. requirement gathering, creating specifications, workshop facilitation, business process design, reports design and business process modelling)
• A good understanding and knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Have demonstrated flexibility and motivational skills.
• Demonstrated experience in the analysis of complex business systems.
• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven experience in influencing and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Detail oriented with good organisational skills.

Desirable
• Experience of delivering projects in a regulated environment (preferably the Energy sector business).
• Experience in using UML (Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc.)

Description: My Leinster based client is currently looking for an experienced Oracle Functional Analyst to join their expanding team in a permanent role.
This position is a Functional Analyst in our Technology Team, working with the business team and the Financial Systems Team in the Discrete Manufacturing work stream. The work requires understanding current business processes and the expertise and ability to recommend well-reasoned ways of enhancing, re-architecting and improving technical solutions to support business requirements. The ideal candidate must be able to independently manage simultaneous projects, communicate effectively, and have a customer-service oriented approach.
An Oracle Discrete Manufacturing/ Inventory Functional Lead will independently analyse requirements and lead for the Oracle Manufacturing modules (e.g. WIP, BOM, INV, Planning, Costing, Quality, Barcoding/ MSCA, Inventory)
Operations:
Independently conduct Pilots and be responsible for FIT gap analysis. Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents. Drive all meetings within there function for the company and manage the analysis through design phases related to their respective modules. Provide Management Reporting for progress and status for all Business related Work Products / Deliverables.
Working with the IT Service desk and Operations resolving any incident assigned to support the FSS project including participating in DR testing, incident management, resolution, escalation, in a timely manner and within the ITIL Framework as required.
Conduct Business Process and Systems Design Workshops
Present Solution Definition Findings
Establish Security and Control Requirements
Perform Conversion Data Mapping
Map Requirements to Application Processes
Develop Functional Specifications
Prepare and Conduct Pilots

The UX designer will work as part of the Product Management team and will be responsible for helping us understand how our customers do their jobs and how our product can best enable them.

The UX designer should know how to ask the right questions that get to the heart of what customers want, and empathise with their goals and needs.

Working closely with the UX Designer, their work will involve leading the user research we need for product development.

Responsibilities:

• Perform usability tests to see how current users interact with the product
• Run investigative user studies and interviews
• Undertake heuristic and expert audits of the product
• Shadow users during their normal work activities to see how they interact with the product
• Document customer journeys and other deliverables that will support the design and development of the product
• Act as the user’s voice during product design sessions
• Record and present user research findings to key stakeholders across the business

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years' experience as a UX designer
• Portfolio of successful UX research
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel to visit some client sites if / when necessary

4. Contribute to the design of apps and services that engage users
5. Networking with external experts to stay on the cutting edge of what's new in technology and user experience, identifying opportunities to and experimenting with applying new technologies and interaction patterns to customer problems.
6. Own the user experience design for programmes and product development
Key Qualifications
1. degree in visual or graphic design, interaction design, or related field equivalent professional experience
2. 8+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role, with 3+ years at a senior level managing others
3. Experience leading and managing a team of UX and Visual designers
4. Experience leading and delivering full life cycle design projects, from design strategy through execution
5. A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centred design solutions across multiple interfaces and screen sizes
6. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
7. Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
8. Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
9. Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for the web and web based devices
