I. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The ESB Middleware Administrator is responsible for deplying and supporting middleware applications using Tibco and IBM WebSphere MQ/application server products. The ideal candidate will have seven or more years of experience with middleware administration in a financial services organizations.

II. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS:
This position reports to the Manager of WebSphere Administration.

III. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Deploy, Administer, Support and maintain middleware applications to enable communication between financial applications on diverse platforms with varying interfaces.
• Responsible for the installation, maintenance and configuration of Tibco, IBM WebSphere MQSeries , Websphere Message Broker, and J2EE Application Server technologies.
• Assess and identify appropriate changes and make recommendations for implementation.
• Perform Tibco ESB system administration,troubleshooting, monitoring, problem resolution, system security and change implementation.
• Work individually or in a team on various system projects related to UNIX, Linux, Windows and Application support.
• Plan, prepare and apply maintenance fixes and upgrades to Webshere software.
• Assist application support team with high level problem program debugging through heap and thread dump analysis.
• Provide system support including off shift on call support as and when required. Increase staff skill levels by cross training.

IV. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• 5+ years TibcoESB, Tibco BPM, Tibco Hawk, Tibco IBM WebSphere Message Broker, Message Queing, Application Server, Enterprise Content Manager and Tomcat
• 5+ years’ experience of the full software development lifecycle.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Java and JMS a plus.
• Should have strong UNIX/Linux operating system administration experience
• Certification / Training in Tibco Suite a plus.
• Experience with installation, configuration and administration of Tibco Enterprise Service Bus mandatory.
• Able to setup security for WebShere MQ queues and other objects for data access and for administration using role based security.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Must have quality team building skills, positive attitude, detail oriented, self motivated and strong project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities that continually change.
• On call or remote support through regular rotation.

I. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This person will assist in database administration and support of a large complex Custody and Brokerage System. The candidate must have proven working experience in supporting of the large enterprise applications.

II. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS:
This position reports to Robert Romero and is a key position within the Progress DBA group which is responsible for assisting our current Progress DBA.

III. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Opendge Skills (10.2B):
• familiar with industries best strategies on DB dump/load, disaster recovery procedures, index rebuilding options, backup/restore and DB optimization
• experience with progress database migrations and conversions
• experience with OpenEdge application server and web speed management
• experience with OpenEdge Management and OpenEdge Explorer
• experience with OpenEdge replication
• experience with Sonic MQ and Sonic ESB (advantage)

Other skills:
• basic knowledge of Unix, Linux and Windows administration

• Employer defines equivalent as 3 years of study towards a Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience in software development.
• Requires 8 years experience in Software development to include Progress / Open Edge software development in the financial services industry including exposure to market data and experience with Database modeling, and Progress 4GL.
• At least 2 years of the 8 years experience required to include Progress Sonic MQ or IBM Websphere MQ.

I. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Quality Assurance Performance Engineer will support testing activities for projects covering application changes across a number of products and platforms. Responsibilities will include assisting with test design, and performing test execution for designated projects, together with support for our continuous process improvement activities and liaising with business colleagues, technical architects, analysts, vendors, and development teams in a fast moving, global working environment. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

II. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS:
This position reports to the Global QA Associate Director and is a key position within the Quality Assurance Management Team.

III. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Ability and expertise to identify performance issues within J2EE architecture Load Balancers, Weblogic, Database (Oracle), Operating System (Windows, UNIX), Network, Software (JAVA) and Hardware.
• Hands-on experience in building enterprise level performance test suites.
• Excellent ability to partner with Architects, Developers, Systems Engineers and Database Administrators to collaboratively tune systems.
• Thorough understanding and hands on experience with performance testing tools such as HP Performance Center (LoadRunner) including open source tools.
• Expert ability to dissect large amounts of data and identify potential issues across releases.
• Excellent skills in summarizing large amount of metrics into meaningful graphs and reports.
• Strong knowledge of Web Service, XML technologies (SOAP, WSDL, XML).
• Experience with Oracle SQL.
• Solid programming skills in JAVA and SQL.
• Extensive JAVA and SQL performance tuning experience (e.g. garbage collection, heap management, JVM Configuration, query optimization etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and constant communication to senior management/ stakeholders.

IV. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• This position requires excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
• 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relational functional field and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience.
• 6+ years of performance engineering experience; developing software benchmarks, benchmark testing, performance analysis and tuning, performance testing and programming experience ( Java EE, Web Services Technologies, SOAP and/or REST)
• Strong experience with application servers (WebSphere, WebLogic) and database technologies (Oracle and SQL Server)
• Strong experience in UI/Web 2.0 Development (JavaScript, Ajax, Adobe Flash/Flex, Dojo)
• Strong knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems
• Strong experience with the full software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (Agile)

I. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a Systems Administrator - Unix, you would help lead the Unix System Administration team which provides 24x7 production support for mission critical environments accessed worldwide.

II. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS:
This position is part of the Information Technology team and reports to Systems Administration Lead / Manager.

III. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Address day-to-day server issues in a production environment that requires quick turnaround.
• Plan, prepare and complete Solaris and Linux OS patching.
• Perform essential UNIX administration tasks – server builds, patching, user administration, cluster management, software installations, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Provide 24x7 operations support. Promptly respond to telephone calls, voice-mail and e-mail.
• Resolve and document system errors and performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis of critical errors and outages.
• Identification and resolution of customer issues
• Accept responsibility and personal accountability

IV. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Undergraduate degree in computing or computing equivalent or technical-related area together with equivalent working experience
• 3 - 5 years of relevant IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of Solaris OS and RedHat Linux administration and patching practices
• Candidate must possess good troubleshooting skills and should be able to identify and quickly resolve issues caused by OS patching and changes
• Good knowledge of clustering technologies, preferable Sun Cluster
• ZFS administration
• Solaris volume manager and Logical Volume Manager
• Strong scripting experience (Perl, Python, Shell)
• Must know how to build Solaris packages and Linux RPMs
• Experience with Nagios, Graphite, Puppet or similar tools is a plus
• Take personal ownership (going beyond assigned tasks to make a project better, identify and report issues, demonstrate strong concern for clients and initiatives).
• Demonstrate strategic thinking.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication with customers IT team members including managers and peers.
• Must have production support experience and must have worked in 24x7 support environments.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and changing priorities. Must be able to work in high-pressure environment, sometimes independently and sometimes as part of a project team.
