Role and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Design, configuration, maintenance and documentation of environment infrastructure.
Assist team members in resolving technical issues.
Performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of server production environment.
Security and access control.

Skills and Experience Required
Education: BSc in Computer Technology or related.
Candidate should have minimum 3 years industry experience in Redhat Linux administration.
Ability to be self-organised with experience working in small interdisciplinary technology teams.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong scripting experience (bash or other).
Strong Virtualization (VMware - ESX 5.x) experience.
Strong experience with enterprise storage.
Experience with SAN fabric management.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Has a solid background in scalability design using best practices.
Familiarity with HP ProLiant hardware.
Good knowledge of Open Source Technologies.
Good knowledge of network methodologies.
Linux RHCSA/RHCSE (Distinct Advantage).
Knowledge & experience with JAVA/Tomcat/JBOSS (Distinct Advantage).

The successful candidate will undertake the following:
Administration of Linux servers, virtual machines, provisioning systems;
Provide server management and network support for internal and external customers;
Proactively ensure networks, server and environmental infrastructure are available and secure;
RADIUS & LDAP administration and configuration;
Administration of DNS, SQL databases and web-hosting systems;
Troubleshoot and evaluate provider connectivity issues.
Minimum of three (3) years industry experience, at least two (2) of which working in a similar role;
Experience in supporting Internet, E-mail and Web technologies;
Proven expertise implementing Internet services.
Experience working with an ISP, providing network and server management support for internal and external customers.
Skills & Aptitudes:
Excellent knowledge of Operating System software and its administration;
Thorough knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networking;
Ability to logically troubleshoot and evaluate server and network connectivity issues.
Excellent knowledge and experience of UNIX/Linux OS (preferably Ubuntu);
