The basic purpose of the IT Security Analyst is to design, implement and maintain the current security environment according to established policy and to assist in security policy development where appropriate.
Minimum:
3-5 years experience in information technology or information security with an emphasis on project management.
3 years experience in server technology and network protocols.
Associate’s degree in Computers, Technology or related field.
Preferred:
At least 5 years experience in network security.
At least 5 years experience with network protocols.
Thorough understanding of firewall, vpn and encryption technology.

Description:
This position will be responsible for providing end-user support to local and remote users, as well as providing application support solutions on industry standard applications (MS Office, McAfee Antivirus, PcAnywhere, etc.) and company specific software. This candidate would be expected to install and document new application software, “hot fixes” and patches, in addition to installing, diagnosing, configuring and correcting Windows XP OS issues. This person will also have some windows server responsibility including Microsoft Exchange. They will perform some security roles like account management and vulnerability assessment.
