Essential Responsibilities:

● Work with Product Marketing and Market Research teams to understand customer needs and envision new product solutions for the various user personas we target
● Write Agile-based stories that conform to best practices including acceptance criteria, positive and negative paths, etc.
● Collaborate with the design and development team members to produce wireframes and market leading user experiences that are creative and easy-to-use which solve customer needs and market problems
● Work efficiently to continuously stay ahead of the needs of the development team
● Work with stakeholders to actively and effectively conduct sprint planning that includes the bundling and prioritization of new features
● Monitor the direction the industry is moving (especially within Europe)
● Coordinate communication across teams (e.g. Product Marketing, Engineering, and Development) and provide status updates on projects
● Assist with product documentation during the Go-to-Market process for new features
● Assist with other Product Management responsibilities as needed


Job Requirements:

● Minimum 1-2 years experience as Business Analyst in a technical environment creating superior user experiences for web-based products (Agile experience is preferred)
● Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills with demonstrated leadership abilities
● Basic understanding of modern web development technologies and languages
● Hard working self-starter capable of learning quickly
● Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
● Ability to travel
● Degree in Business, Marketing, MIS or related discipline preferred
● Online portfolio of sample writing and user experience design is preferred

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models, such as performance, application and security.
• Develop architecture governance strategy and controls to ensure consistency between various systems and components.
• Provide advice and present on solutions for stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
• Full SDLC involvement including review of development and testing activities to ensure architecture vision is being followed.
• Work with stakeholders to help define business requirements for complex systems, focusing on understanding and documenting the business processes and data flows between each component.
• Work with development teams in the implementation of processes which result in a highly simple, extendable and scalable architecture
• Help drive the development of future state architecture and the strategic plan for supporting both transactional and information systems.
• Work with third parties to integrate systems or components into the company’s products
• Research and assess emerging technologies and recommend technologies that can simplify development, reduce effort, or solve problems that are creating defects in current systems
• Help set up new projects in a manner that will work well with version control and CI
• Write code for features that utilize new or unfamiliar technologies, coding practices, or languages
• Analyse code coverage and other metrics to identify potential areas for improvement and/or refactoring
• Educate developers on topics ranging from basic principles like decoupling, interface segregation, writing clean code or how to apply SOLID principles to advanced topics like functional decomposition and refactoring, deployment methodologies, network traffic analysis, load testing, or defect analysis
• Take a lead role in defining coding standards, practices for unit testing (including TDD) and code reviews to ensure a higher quality product.

Essential Qualifications:
• 8+ years in technical leadership roles with a minimum of 3 as an architect.
• Experience with common patterns in distributed systems (e.g. REST, SOA, SaaS, web applications)
• Strong Experience in the .Net framework (WCF, ASMX, MVC, Web API, Windows Services, WebForms etc.)
• Experience in debugging and tuning web services at the transport layer
• Experience of distributed caching and related open source tools.
• Experience with RPC request/response, asynchronous communication, and message based communication (RabbitMQ, Broker/Bus).
• Experience of multi-threading and performance tuning of code.
• Experience in OO JavaScript and JSON with an emphasis on Ajax development and use of JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, jQuery UI, Highcharts or other leading industry frameworks).
• Experience writing C# unit tests and conducting load testing.
• Experience of dependency injection and inversion of control
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Strong leadership skills including resource management and project estimation.
• Ability to analyse and understand complex problems.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, pro-active, and able to plan.
• Excellent, proven written and verbal communication skills required.
• Excellent, collaboration, influence and leadership skills required.
• Experience of selecting third party products (Market scans, PoC, RFP etc.).
• Demonstrated knowledge of IT Security best practices and integration with application authorization and access.
• Strong Experience with application lifecycle management processes and related tools and practices.
• Experience with multi-currency and multi-language (International) environments.
• Experience with Agile development practices, preferably Scrum.
• Minimum of a B.S in Computer Science or related field.

Desired.Qualifications:
• Previous experience in SaaS based systems is a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of NoSQL solutions.
• Experience working with C++ solutions
• Knowledge of JavaScript unit testing and related tools

The role of the Business Analyst ( Digital )is to:

Responsibilities:

 Provide 2nd line support to the business. Weekend Support is required and is scheduled on a rotational basis.
 Provide mission critical response to daily issues through in-depth investigation and problem solving techniques.
 Issue management, liaising with the required development and 3rd level support teams globally.
 Effectively communicate and escalate issues between the business and team members in order to ensure proper handling of issues is provided.
 Incorporate personal knowledge in the development of support tools and efficiencies that will be used by the team for daily or specific events.
 Liaison between development and business teams to improve the quality of the system and its applications.
 Ensure that my client’s applications are available and supported in line with the defined system service level agreement.
 Execute and escalate problem management procedure as necessary.
 Record and document accurately and in a timely manner support activities, which should include support tasks and outages. This information will be used to assist in identifying areas for investing in improvement initiatives.
 Provide in depth analysis of queries raised by the business, ranging from disbursement issues through to detailed analysis of reporting issues.
 Identify reoccurring issues and resolve accordingly.
 Support stability initiatives and work to achieve corporate and Global Production Support goals.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of Application Support/Development experience, of which a minimum of 3-4 years are in Support

Skills:
• UNIX - commands and Shell/Perl scripting knowledge (Essential)
• Oracle database and MS SQL Server knowledge including SQL, PL/SQL (Essential)
• WebLogic (Essential)
• IBM MQ Series (Essential)
• Ability to look at and understand XML file formats (Essential)
• .Net (Desirable)

Qualifications:
• Degree level in an IT oriented subject is advantageous.

Competencies:
