Responsibilities
 Ensure that the platform provides optimum customer experience from a performance and availability standpoint
 Drive the architecture of the web properties
 Manage a team of front and back end developers, QA analyst and solutions architect
 Collaborate intensively with the e-commerce and design team to succeed in the achievement of development goals
 Assist budget forecasting for development
 Keep development hours on track
 Solutions defined adhere to security and data protection standards
 Motive and set team goals
 Manage projects from start to finish of project life-cycle
 Closely manage all releases and code deployments
 Work with team to ensure version control standards are implemented and applied to

Requirements
 At least 7-10 years’ Web Development experience
 Previous experience in team management and eager to gain more
 Significant experience in development life-cycles, release process, and development technologies
 Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse set of team members, under challenging and pressurized scenarios
 Ability to work across functional environments e.g. IT security teams
 Version control and release management experience
 Need to have experience of working on e-commerce and database driven dynamic sites
 Need to have a keen interest in existing and emerging technology
 Experience of implementing an enterprise level CMS and integrating with 3rd party digital marketing systems
 Experience of working within a digital marketing ecosystem

Desirable Qualities

Description: My Dublin based financial client currently requires a hands-on Application Support Analyst to be responsible for providing second level support.

Responsibilities:

 Provide 2nd line support to the business. Weekend Support is required and is scheduled on a rotational basis.
 Provide mission critical response to daily issues through in-depth investigation and problem solving techniques.
 Issue management, liaising with the required development and 3rd level support teams globally.
 Effectively communicate and escalate issues between the business and team members in order to ensure proper handling of issues is provided.
 Incorporate personal knowledge in the development of support tools and efficiencies that will be used by the team for daily or specific events.
 Liaison between development and business teams to improve the quality of the system and its applications.
 Ensure that my client’s applications are available and supported in line with the defined system service level agreement.
 Execute and escalate problem management procedure as necessary.
 Record and document accurately and in a timely manner support activities, which should include support tasks and outages. This information will be used to assist in identifying areas for investing in improvement initiatives.
 Provide in depth analysis of queries raised by the business, ranging from disbursement issues through to detailed analysis of reporting issues.
 Identify reoccurring issues and resolve accordingly.
 Support stability initiatives and work to achieve corporate and Global Production Support goals.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of Application Support/Development experience, of which a minimum of 3-4 years are in Support

Skills:
• UNIX - commands and Shell/Perl scripting knowledge (Essential)
• Oracle database and MS SQL Server knowledge including SQL, PL/SQL (Essential)
• WebLogic (Essential)
• IBM MQ Series (Essential)
• Ability to look at and understand XML file formats (Essential)
• .Net (Desirable)

Qualifications:
• Degree level in an IT oriented subject is advantageous.

Competencies:
• Candidate must be reliable, consistent, self-starter, to work with minimum supervision
• The position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), in order to build the relationship with, and the confidence of, business users and technology teams at various levels in a global environment.
• Given that the system supports time critical user needs, the candidate must be able to operate under time pressure
• Good Time management and analytical skills are required.
• Good planning is important in the role

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on, technical development management role, responsible for E2E project delivery.
• Responsible for formulating, reviewing and approving development plans and requirements.
• Responsible for reviewing and approving designs/code to ensure quality of delivery.
• Create and define resource plans for development tasks.
• Manage multiple offshore vendors and technology delivery teams.
• Interact with the Testers, development team and other stakeholders
• Provide coordination for all special (post-production validation, etc.) testing activities.
• Devise effective mitigation and escalation strategies to address program risks and issues
• Drive program through project governance methodology and ensure compliance to tollgates
• Lead regular project and program reviews with key stakeholders
• Accurate and timely reporting of the project portfolio against plan
• Create and contribute to key program artefacts: project plans, budgets, stakeholder communications, resources and time management.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Masters in Computer Science or related
• 10-12 years’ experience in relevant area
• Proficiency with developing mission critical global applications using distributed technologies such as Java, J2EE, UI technologies, Spring framework, Hibernate, Oracle database, Web sphere and Unix.
• Experience with managing quality programs on large scale application testing.
• Provide global guidance to off-shore development teams.
• Ability to support UAT and/or client test teams.
• Banking or financial knowledge
• Experience with Java development
• Architecture/design experience.
• Knowledge/experience with high volume/throughput systems
• Works well and respects other disciplines of the project teams.
• Strong negotiation and influence skills.
• Ability to manage risk appropriately.

Integral to the role is the requirement to understand commercial objectives, ensure high quality solutions are delivered that adhere to industry best practice and corporate guidelines.

Key Responsibilities & Duties Include:
• Conception, Analysis, and design of new online product offerings
• Delivery of best practice standards and corporate guidelines
• Commercial awareness of market conditions and delivery of supporting products
• Ability to give creative direction to both internal and external agencies
• Creating prototypes, scenarios and test cases & Implementing high quality successful product offerings
• Applying user centered design practices and ensuring robust and modern design practices and methodologies

To be considered for the role of Senior UX Designer, candidates must meet the following:

Essential Criteria:
• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Interactive Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI) or related disciplines
• Ability to work closely with Designers, Product Owners and Developers
• Demonstrable portfolio of work
• Professional experience in coding HTML and CSS
• Strong understanding of user research, wire framing, personas and other HCI methods
• Experience using version control systems; experience with Git preferred
• In depth knowledge of user interface design principals, responsive web design, user centric design processes, accessibility and usability methodologies.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken




Key Competencies / Skills Required:
• The ability to both project manage and collaborate actively in a multi-disciplinary team
• A creative thinker, paired with strong analytical ability
• A good knowledge of web, desktop and mobile design, information architecture, and usability principles and best practices
• Technical and commercial understanding of SEO impact on a business, and ability to influence business decisions

• Relevant work experience is required with an up to date online portfolio demonstrating commercial application and interface design

Desirable Criteria:
• Experience with bug tracking, and workflow applications/tools
• Experience working with Agile frameworks and processes
