Our client is currently seeking to hire an experienced ICT Systems Administrator/ Manager for our client. The head office is located in Dublin West just off the M50. The network has 350 users and 3 sites in Ireland.
The Key elements of the IT environment include:
The main business application is Kerridge ERP, running on latest Windows platforms
Active Directory and exchange experience a must
DR experience is required
Any Virtualisation exp would be nice to have
Backups and replication systems
basic VOIP. Security skills nice to have
Any BI Reports skills would be useful for senior management reporting from Kerridge
Numerous assorted scanners, printers, multi-function devices etc
Overall WAN network skills
Based at the Head Office in Dublin off the NAAS rd, the Systems Administrator/ Manager will be the key employee member at our HQ dedicated to the ICT function. As such he/she will have a broad set of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
the delivery of the ICT related services (current and future) required by the business
the technical management of ICT infrastructure
day-to-day ICT operations and support
the delivery of ICT services in accordance with agreed service levels or service targets
lead or participate in the planning, management and delivery of ICT related projects

Key Requirements of this role:
Hold a relevant IT Qualification and 5 + years experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of hardware and associated technologies: MS Operating Systems, LAN/WAN Technologies, SAN storage, VMWARE, Backup management, Software deployment application, image build creation/management.
Experience working with Service Level Agreements and maintaining processes and procedures
Strong customer focus and problem solving abilities
Process good communication skills and telephone manner
Strict attention to detail and ability to finish tasks out fully to the highest standard.
Excellent Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environments
Work with helpdesk tools to manage workload
Degree in IT or equivalent experience
Microsoft Certification in Server 2003/2008
Knowledge of working with SCCM or equivalent application
SAN storage certification
Experience with Server, Network Technologies and Protocols
Experience working in a Team and multi-site environments
Be willing to work to an On-Call rota as part of a team
