Description: My Dublin based client currently requires a Technical Support Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be required to work in a support environment focussed around cloud based managed email & web security.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing client support
• Troubleshooting, isolating and solving problems
• Client setup and policy configuration on cloud based systems for email and internet filtering systems, and anti-virus
• Performing analysis for email tracking on a number of bespoke systems Providing out-of-hours support when required
• Customer on results, and assistance in rectification of any issues.

Requirements:
• Previous technical support experience required, minimum 2 years
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good telephone manner
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users
• Good working knowledge of email transport, protocols and email administration
• An understanding of networking and Internet technologies

Description: My Dublin based client currently requires a Server Support Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be required to provide high-level 2nd/3rd Level Support for the server and storage infrastructure of my client. The role entails taking a leading role in troubleshooting and supporting operating systems and applications in a corporate IT environment. Will work as part of a team to provide comprehensive technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

• Provide 3rd level support for server and storage based issues.
• Delivery of project based work to agreed target dates.
• Involvement in hardware review/upgrade/replacement decision-making process. Installation and configuration of Servers.
• Review, development and on-going support of server backup/recovery strategy.
• Potentially provide Out of Hour support on agreed rota
• Review, development and on-going support of enterprise management solution – alter monitoring, trending and enterprise logging tools.
• Review, development and on-going support of software management solution – packaging and distribution to servers/desktops, audit management.
• Work with other IT Teams to provide best practice IT practice and implement IT solutions that meet identified business needs.
• Other Duties as assigned
• Support adhoc projects and audit requests

Key Requirements of this role:

• Hold a relevant IT Qualification and 5 + years’ experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of hardware and associated technologies: MS Operating Systems, LAN/WAN Technologies, SAN storage, VMWARE, Backup management, Software deployment application, image build creation/management.
• Experience working with Service Level Agreements and maintaining processes and procedures
• Strong customer focus and problem solving abilities
• Process good communication skills and telephone manner
• Strict attention to detail and ability to finish tasks out fully to the highest standard.
• Excellent Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environments
• Work with helpdesk tools to manage workload

Desirable:
• Degree in IT or equivalent experience
• Microsoft Certification in Server 2003/2008
• Knowledge of working with SCCM or equivalent application
• VMWARE certification
• SAN storage certification
• Experience with Server, Network Technologies and Protocols
• Experience working in a Team and multi-site environments
• Be willing to work to an On-Call rota as part of a team

Overall Purpose
The Help Desk Engineer will be responsible for logging incoming IT service calls from our clients to our helpdesk, provide troubleshooting and technical support to customers over the telephone and via remote access. Escalation of issues to engineers if onsite work is required.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage all helpdesk calls
• Log, prioritise and process support queries
• Analyse, solve and respond to issues raised
• Manage network access queries
• Route calls that cannot be solved at the help desk to relevant team members and effectively interact with customers and engineers to provide a solution
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers
• Build and develop customer relationships
• Order stock from suppliers
• Schedule work for Field Service Engineers
Knowledge and Expertise
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar environment
• Solid understanding of Windows 7, Windows 8, Small Business Server 2011, Windows Server 2008 & 2012.
• Familiar with remote access programs (“LogMeIn” & “Team Viewer”)

Type of Person
• Self-motivated with ability to use own initiative and make an immediate impact with customers
• Excellent phone manner and communication skills
• Be able to work on own initiative without supervision and in a team situation
• Capable of working in a highly pressurised environment

Junior Network Engineer Key Aspects of the role:
My client is looking for an energetic first line helpdesk engineer who is looking to fast track their career in IT. They offer a great place to work and a focussed environment in which you will be expected to develop your skills (Microsoft, Fortinet, ShadowProtect) through their structured training programme. You will work as part of team both on help desk and in deployment scenarios as your skills develop.

Responsibilities – You will work as part of a helpdesk team and after a period of initial training your responsibilities will include:
• Logging first line requests and incidents – received via phone, email and in-person - into the Service Management system.
• Ensure that the highest standards of Customer Focus are demonstrated at all times.
• Ensuring that all clients – both internal and external are dealt with in a friendly, efficient and timely manner.
• Responsible for frontline Incident & Problem management – ensuring that all incidents are resolved in a timely manner or escalated to appropriate engineer level support.
• Responsible for contributing to project-based activity – time-permitting.
• Ensure that established procedures and controls are adhered to at all times. Also responsible for highlighting if / when procedures or controls have changed so that documentation can be updated. In short – be well organised.
• Full understanding of the Service Level Agreements (SLA) in place with our customers. Also, to ensure that these SLA’s are adhered to as far as is possible and that all exceptions are escalated to Service Desk Management.

Personal Traits:
• Demonstrate high levels of written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, ensuring that all interactions with customers, co-workers and management are done in a friendly and courteous manner.

• Strong customer focus with the ability to record, resolve and/or escalate Service Related queries – both within the customers and also directly with Vendors - and ensure that all customer related issues/queries are managed to resolution within agreed customer SLA timeframes.

• Must have 1-2 years prior Network Support and helpdesk experience, with 1 years experience in On-Site Server Installations and Trouble-Shooting of Networking Issues

Education & Qualifications:
3rd Level Diploma/Degree.
MCP, MCSA or MSCE in Microsoft technologies or equivalent.
